Recommend Trupanion to all pet owners!
From the beginning, Trupanion has been prompt with reimbursements, prompt to reply to phone messages and overall a very efficiently run organization. They worked with our veterinarian and VCA hospital immediately to inform us of the Trupanion financial responsibilities verses ours. The question of cost was never lingering for days or weeks. In the end when we had to euthanize our sweet dog, they were prompt to send us condolences and let us know the policy would be cancelled and we would be reimbursed a balance for the months payment. We never once had to worry a minute about paperwork, or spend anytime working out details with Trupanion. We insured our dog when he was a pup and would recommend everyone do the same. We had peace of mind throughout the life of our dog, and that was important to us because our dog was a member of our family. Sylvia

Did not help me save on an emergency
Although this service came free for one month with my puppy, I was excited that I had it when he ingested a sock. I thought this scary experience would be covered by Trupanion. I was wrong, the service was going to cover the emergency part of the bill, but not the exam that came with it . After the deductible I only ended up saving around $13 on a $193 bill. Not worth it at this time. Maybe if my dog develops health issues later on this insurance will come in handy.

I am very grateful for this service and this plan, years after years I have been paying thousands and thousands of dollars in vet. What a shame not having heard of this great company. I can't find words to thank you. I am extremely happy and satisfied. Trupanion covered 90% OMG Thank U guys !! BRAVO 100% recommended.

Love Trupanion, but c'mon
I like Trupanion, though I was disappointed that you didn't cover more of my dog's recent issue. We've been using Trupanion for almost 7 years, and this is only the second time we've made a claim that had to be reimbursed after deductible.

Value not clear
First claim was denied. I’m spending $200 a month on two healthy dogs and getting my first small claim denied makes me honestly likely to cancel in the future. I would only recommend in very specific circumstances.

12.5 years with Trupanion
The claim was misplaced by Trupanion for a few weeks and we had to follow up .Then they got onto it. And we received payment.Had our sweet dog insured with them for 12.5 years until she passed.Our premiums and payouts were a wash.Did not like the continual premium increases each year but still glad we had coverage.
