#1 Your representative, Chantel, was very engaging, professional and knowledgeable about your pet insurance offerings. Chantel was informative without being a hard sale type. #2 100% coverage was available, which is what we were looking for, at a reasonable rate.

Trupanion came thru for us in the way I wish all insurance companies would.
Our dog was diagnosed with a malignant tumor. The holistic vet recommended surgery and supplements for recovery and making the immune system stronger. It was expensive and that is a concern for us, but Trupanion made it easy to go ahead and do the procedure and follow up with the care he will need. I used their pre-approval method so I knew in advance what they would pay for. We were worried about our dog's health and luckily not about the finances. I have heard how hard it is for people who have difficult diagnosis and I wish human health insurance was as good as Trupanion is for our pet.

Trupanion offers the ability & flexibility for one to customize and select a deductible and provides the tool to calculate the associated to allow one coverage that is affordable and that can fit into any budget. We find this so beneficial. Trupanion is a wonderful provider and we love the Vet direct payment process as it provides efficiency for the Veterinarian and is hassle-free for the insured. We have coverage with Trupanion for both of our puppies and would recommend Trupanion to everyone. Trupanion's coverage provides us with the peace of mind we desire so that we don't have to worry should our pets get sick or be injured.

Glitchy process
I chose the new deductible we wanted on the website, it sent me documents with the incorrect one, had to call and fix it. Was frustrated with a $35 fee (allegedly to create an account?) which is absurd when we already had the account set up from our cat's shelter trial.

I find it a bit pricey. Sophe, now 7.5 years old, costs me well over $100/month now and goes up every year.
