Trupanion has been AMAZING about covering the expenses for the treatment of my dog's very costly autoimmune disease. I never have to worry about telling the vets that I won't be able to try a treatment due to cost and I am confident that I am providing my dog with the absolute best chance at recovering as possible, which is all thanks to Trupanion.

Trupanion is argumentative in payment.
Trupanion is argumentative in payment. I recommend it to people as something that will cost the same for your pet's treatment in the end but. you are making payments over the long term instead of all at once. There is not a savings really. Also, the vets in this area do not do the billing and don't seem to have any high regard for insurance so it's not simple.

I was disappointed when my premium went up this year and considered canceling. So glad I didn't. Wyatt's been limping around and he needed x-rays to see what the problem was so we could make him comfortable. I was grateful he didn't need surgery, but also so grateful that Trupanion paid the enormous vet bill.

Recent claim experience
The experience was fine although under my deductible so I have no idea how the claim would be handled if you actually had to payout. I might give you a higher rating for Recommend but can’t as your rates are too high and keep escalating yearly. If my pets were younger I would switch.
