Not making the same mistake if forgoing pet health insurance!
The process to sign up was very streamlined and simple. The Trupanion representative was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and considerate of my time! We made the mistake of not obtaining pet insurance for our beloved Labrador who passed away at 13 years with MANY health conditions. In hindsight, pet insurance was something we should have signed up for. We paid thousands upon thousands of dollars on his medical bills. We won’t make the same mistake again. New puppy = Trupanion!

Trapanion is great !
Trapanion makes it so easy to file a claim. We just let the front desk at our vet know to submit a claim for our visit and they do. We get a email and a text from Trapanion letting us know they got the claim usually within a hour or less of our visit and then get a detailed email on what will be paid for by trupanion. We love having peace of mind for when our dog has to go to the vet we have someone to help with expenses.

Thank goodness I had Trupanion Insurance! My fur baby had an emergency surgery that ended up costing over $10,000. Trupanion was absolutely wonderful to work with and covered way more than I ever expected they would! I cannot recommend them enough!

Basically nothing is ever covered compared to other companies - my dog has been on it since a puppy. I pay about $720/year in premiums and thus far have gotten like $150 back on 3K of items.

Wonderful, Up-Front Coverage at 90%!
My dog was admitted to an urgent care/specialty clinic this week with a suspected ruptured disc requiring advanced imaging and possible surgery. The estimate for the total cost was $5,000.00 - $10,000.00. I was enormously relieved when Trupanion immediately agreed to cover 90% of these charges. At a time when I was tremendously worried and upset about my dog's health, Trupanion removed the added burden of financial concern. Fortunately, it turned out that my dog did not require advanced imaging or spinal surgery at this time, but I am very grateful that Trupanion was willing to cover such a large amount of what he may have required and that they were willing to do this immediately and as a direct payment to the veterinary facility. Trupanion covered 90% of the charges related to a critical hemi-laminectomy my dog did require last year, and I was so grateful then. It was wonderful to have Trupanion to again rely upon in his recent health crisis.

Seven years of great coverage 10/10
This is the one of many claims we have made. Two knee surgeries, 2 day ER visit, monthly allergy shots, and more. Trupanion is easy to file, quick to process, and fast to electronically pay. I have recommended Trupanion to friends in search of reliable insurance at a reasonable rate.
