Best Pet Insurance Ever!
I have a almost 11 year old Golden Retriever and and almost 10 year old Golden Retriever. We've had numerous claims and Trupanion has ALWAYS come through for us. The piece of mind is worth every (affordable) monthly payment we have made and Trupanion makes it extremely easy to submit our medical costs. I will always have them as my pet insurance. Obviously I am concerned about my pet or I would not have pet insurance but the prices keep going up.
Obviously I am concerned about my pet or I would not have pet insurance, but the prices keep going up. The new increase of $20 dollars is outrageous and does not even cover the important routine care. Over 11 years, I have spent far more than most or all health issues would have needed. I would have been in a far better position if I had opened an account and deposited $5 a week. The only reason that I am not canceling now, is that I have already sunk so much money into it and my dog is now past 12.

Many people often ask me why I purchased pet insurance for Bishop as they felt it was an unnecessary thing to do.
Many people often ask me why I purchased pet insurance for Bishop, as they felt it was an unnecessary thing to do. My response has always been I may never need the coverage but the peace of mind it gives me is important. In a perfect world, I would never have had to make a claim for Bishop but unfortunately, we found ourselves in a crisis situation, and emergency care was required to stabilize her, and moving forward ongoing testing and treatment will be needed. On our way to the Ontario Veterinary College with Bishop, I worried about the care, diagnostics, and treatments she would need to keep her as happy and healthy as we possibly could. During her intake examination I never once had to worry about the financial aspects of obtaining medical care and treatment for her – Trupanion meant the highest standard of care was available. I would recommend Trupanion to anyone considering getting a pet – the care and compassion I have received from the Trupanion team has been outstanding. My claims were processed and approved within 24 hours, and funds were directly deposited into my account. Bishop has a long struggle ahead of her, but knowing that Trupanion is standing behind us as part of her health care team has been a great comfort. Thank you Trupanion Team. Marie Hearn & Bishop
