Very pleased
Overall very pleased with Met Life Only problem I’ve had so far was the required “soap” notes to process a claim Her regular vet doesn’t do them so outside of routine shots or check ups I have to take her to a vet in town that does them. I recommend everyone to them asi it is straight forward insurance that covers emergencies or major issues but also pays for her wellness.

Constantly Good Experiences
I’ve had Lemonade insurance for about two years now, and the peace of mind it has given me is worth every penny. My girl had a health scare when she was a kitten, and even though I’ve worked with her vet to keep it from repeating (knock on wood), I knew I wanted insurance to make the financial side of it less terrifying. Their claims are incredibly easy, it’s like messaging someone on FaceBook messenger. A few messages, a picture of the receipt, and that’s it. I’ll be loyal to Lemonade for a loooooong time!

Good insurance
Worst Company Ever
When our dog was young, all was OK. Now she's older, they won't pay for anything, and the rates are up 50%. They used to be really good company, but the last few years have become complete garbage. Save the 160 a month and pay the bills yourself. Will save you half.

I give them 0 starts Been with them for years and the one time we put in a claim we are denied i should of put away that money and would of had a few grand for vet bills
180 from the previous insurer
Having 3 dogs is already expensive, and finding affordable coverage was mind-numbing. We had another company for a few years but could only afford accident/routine care. Even then, they found a reason to deny or lowball almost every claim. Since switching to Met Life we've had one dog hospitalized and another begin treatment for lymphoma. Met Life has reimbursed exactly what we expected without nickel-and-diming us. The claim submission is easy, the communication is prompt and we don't have to fear spending 20-25 thousand out-of-pocket as we did in prior years.

Wellness is not worth it
I am regretting the wellness coverage. It is costing me more in the long run to have this coverage. I am regretting selecting the wellness coverage so much. In the first month I spent double what they cover already and I still have to pay for the coverage that I won't need for the rest of the term sor 11 more months before I can cancel it. So frustrated. Embarrassed I fell for this.

Can't get easier or better!
This is my first year using Lemonade and I'm more than impressed! It was very easy to sign up and they explained all of my options in an easy to understand manner. Actually having options was amazing too! I could choose to cover specific things, like an annual exam, for example, rather than having everything lumped in, even if I didn't need it. The low cost, especially for a senior dog, was astounding as well. When it finally came time to file a claim (for an Annual exam with blood work) the process was painless. I used the phone app to list all the services that the Vet had provided, how much I'd paid, used my camera to take a picture of the invoice, and sent it to Lemonade (who had walked me through each step). Within four hours Lemonade had deposited all of the money they owed me into my bank account with no arguing about what was covered and what wasn't. The whole process was painless and easy. Thank you, Lemonade!

Wellness seriously under covered
Submitting a claim was easy enough, but wellness reimbursement is abysmally low and honestly probably not worth it. No vet has charged that little for either exams or vaccinations in decades.

CO pay AND deductible.
Not only do you have a $400 deductible but they charge you 20% copay as well on the same claim. My claim had two visits and because the 2nd visit was after the policy renewal, they charged me another $400 deductible. An $1800 claim payed me $650

Timely and Perfect Claims Payment
This is the second Golden I have covered with TruPanion. In the 12 years I've had this insurance, they have never lost a claim, never failed to explain well anything not covered, and paid my claims quickly and accurately. I love that I can either send a photo of my claim or upload it or fax it to them. With my first Golden, I was assigned a single individual who handled all of my claims. When my pup passed away, I received a hand-written, very kind and compassionate card from my claims examiner. I recommend TruPanion to all pet Moms and Dads.
