Best Insurance Provider!!!
We got insurance for our dog because she is getting older and we wanted to make sure we were never faced with the option of either helping her or euthanizing her. I am extremely glad I did! 6 months later and she was diagnosed with Addisons disease. The claim process is SO easy and we had our money back basically within 48 hours. They are quick to respond and their customer service is top notch. Moving forward, if we ever get another fur baby again, I will insure them from the beginning. It is very affordable and you can customize your plan to meet your needs.

Very easy to use, shady math with coverage
The app and submitting claims are very easy, the company pays very quickly on claims as well, which is great. My only complaint which is more a frustration is the way this company does their math as it relates to coinsurance and deductible is different than any other type of insurance I’ve ever had and clearly favors Lemonade, not the consumer. Then again, insurance companies number one goal is to make money, not to pay it out, so no surprise.

Best Pet Insurance
I'm very pleased with the coverages I receive, and the ease with which I can file claims. Not a fan of their iPhone app. I continue to file claims on the website. I love that they can direct deposit my payments instead of sending a check. I would recommend that they provide a means of changing direct deposit information on the website. Other than that, I highly recommend MetLife Pet Insurance!

Great support and service
PetsPlusUs has been amazing for our family since 2015, when we got our Dalmatian and German Shorthaired-Pointer puppies. They are both now 8 years old. Recently, our Dal jumped too high for a frisbee and had an "off" landing. The result was that he through his back out. PetsPlusUs has covered not only our dogs' wellness needs like annual exams and monthly parasite medications but also the extra care required for their allergies, injuries and continued wellness. We also have PetsPlusUs coverage for our cat. We intend to stay with this insurance company when these ones pass and we begin the cycle of loving again.

Outstanding company to deal with
Not only was the MetLife pet policy more than competitive than other quotes I received, and in most cases less, but their coverage for both preventative and health is extensive. Additionally, I saw a vet for our puppy on Tuesday, easily completed the claim on their mobile app, but was reimbursed by Thursday.

Because "0" is not an option for AKC/Companion Care
More upset with myself than anything, make sure you know what you're covered for. Have never filed a claim during the life of my 5 year old French Bulldog, but have carried AKC insurance the entire time. A few weeks ago my boy developed IVDD- went from unstoppable to having emergency spinal surgery in a week. Over $6500 in bills, thought it was going to be ok, from the financial standpoint... you know, 'cause I had "pet insurance". Filed my claim, got back EOB & $500 today... that was it, all AKC/Companion Care covered was $500. My ignorance, my loss, feels more like a sham than anything beneficial.

I have been with healthy paw for 14 years. Started from 4 to 5 years ago, monthly premium has been going up 33% every year and this year goes up 36%. I do not recommend healthy paw to others.

Highly Recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance!
I have had Healthy Paws insurance for one of my dogs since he was a puppy and he is now 7 years old. I have been very pleased with the coverage and service I receive from Healthy Paws. I am reimbursed for eligible services days after submission to Healthy Paws. Over this past year my dog has been treated for an unknown shoulder injury that just seems to defy the many approaches to rid him of his pain. Healthy Paws has covered all the treatments submitted and continues to do so as we get closer to a diagnosis that will hopefully result in resolving his pain, muscle atrophy and limping. I recently switched my other dog over to Healthy Paws Pet Insurance because of the great coverage and customer service I receive from Healthy Paws!

BEWARE of MetLife renewal and raising cost 40% !
-------After having policy with MetLife for several years and now second dog - we never had a complaint EXCEPT now ! At our renewal they raised the pricing 40% -- no formal letter although they state it was sent in an email 60 days ago ?? regardless how outrageous ! we only used a small portion of our benefit ! I will be shopping around tomorrow. -
