Pets Best is the BEST!!!
I am so grateful for our dog's medical team and everyone at Pets Best! It is not easy to see your pet in pain and discomfort. The customer care team and Pets Best supported me throughout these difficulties and helped me understand the claims process, and the unlimited cap on our coverage is making it possible for us to give our dog the medical care he needs for the rest of his life. Our first set of claims added up to $2,700, just to figure out what was wrong and get the meds he needs. Pets Best paid out, as promised, and made the claims process easy! Thank you to everyone at Pets Best and thank you to all the amazing doctors and specialists who are providing such great care for our beloved pup!

PB Takes your premiums but rarely pays
I am not really happy with Pets Best. I pay a lot in premiums, but it seems nothing is covered. When they do cover anything, it is only a partial coverage and that is applied to the deductible. With only a small "covered amount" applied to the deductible, it is almost impossible to meet that deductible. The return on investment is low to nonexistent. With that said, I am sure that if there was a major illness or accident, that this insurance would be invaluable. I will keep this insurance for now and presently supplement this policy with a program through my vet's office.

Extremely pleased with Health Paws
I bought Healthy Paws when my dog was between 1 and 2 years. He was just shy of 10 years when he was diagnosed with 2 types of cancer, needed surgery and chemo and was given 2 to 6 mo to live if untreated. Thanks to my policy, my dog is still with me and turns 12 next month. I don't know how I ever could have afforded all the treatment and ongoing followup visits and medications on my own. Healthy Paws has never given me problems and the turnaround on payout is super fast. I have the 90% reimbursement policy.

Cancer and my Boxer
Embrace provided excellent coverage when my boxer was diagnosed with cancer of the jaw and had to have a jaw removal and then chemotherapy. This was the second boxer with cancer, and for the first one they paid out over $18K over two years which is a LOT to provide the excellent care required by lymphoma, giving her an extra 2 years. I would never NOT have pet insurance and I am happy with them, four boxers now, one at a time.

Insurance Covered Major Dental Work
My elderly dog needed major dental surgery which was carefully and respectfully provided by my local vets. She was tested to see if she could handle anesthesia (she could) and surgery went well. When I submitted my claim, the insurance covered easily half of the costs which was deeply appreciated. Being a resilient mixed breed (poodle, schnauzer), she recovered quickly and is back to demanding attention, walks, treats and meals.

Awful.
Really bad experience with this pet insurance. Never covered anything for our dog! He has the infection- didn’t covered, medication- never covered, blood tests or ultrasound tests- never covered. Stoped to using them- no answers just letters “we do not cover it”. The awful client orientation, bad service, just taking money but nothing is covering. Do not recommend! Just really bad….

Do not go with Pets Best Raised Policy over 40% in one year
I would never recommend Pets Best to anybody who cares about their fur baby. They are slow with claims and on top of that, raised my policy by 42.15% and would not explain to me why or provide me with a breakdown. Make sure you do your homework on these companies because they trap you after the first one.

Simply the best in pet health insurance!
I have tried other health insurance fr our cats (we have 3). When my employer added MetLife Pets to our supplementary plans, I signed up mostly because payroll deductions would be more convenient than paying the plan I had at that time. I was very much pleasantly surprised - First, when I called to get a quote, they asked me how I wanted my policy to be. So they tailored on for me and my 3 cats - covers anything I take them to the vet for, including emergencies and dental and $0.00 deductible. Premiums wereat least 20% less than the current plans I have had which covered only wellness. No more nickel and diming wiht the vet! Even better, MetLife Pets website and app is so easy to use that filing claims is as easy as logging in an uploading copies of the invoice and vet notes (called SOAP). 10 days after documents were uploaded, my reimbursements just show up in my bank account! One more thing - When my son's wife took one of our cats to the vet and did not get the SOAP notes, MetLife Claims Processor contacts the vet and got the documents for us. Now that is Customer Service! Even better - we got reimbursement a day after the vet sent them the documents. That's efficiency!

10 years / no claims. Dog died and Fetch sent me a bill because I didn’t meet the deductible
At just over 10 years my corgi suddenly fell ill. I was able to get him to a pet emergency where they worked on him for 40 minutes. Sadly, my corgi / Aussie Shepard cross passed away. I had made no precious claims and regularity paid the monthly bill. The cost of intubation, medicine and cpr was $263 which I paid. Then after I submitted the bill for reimbursement. Fetch took 3 weeks and sent me multiple notifications that they needed more time. Upon their decision I was quoted a cost of $263 to be paid to them because I did not reach my deductible of $750. A BILL!!!!!!! This is a faceless corporation. All of the feedback customer reviews are from only satisfied customers. Don’t fall for it. This is a faceless corporation. Don’t use them. Save your money. Over time those $50/month will offset any big vet bills. Don’t make the mistake I made.

Simply the Best
I have insured 2 dogs with Metlife , and couldn’t be happier. When I lost my first Basset, Metlife was there for me. Now i’m insuring my second, and already had multiple claims for shots, heartworm meds, checkups and soon to be neutering. Metlife covers it all. Can’t put a price on piece of mind. My pup is worth it, yours should be too. Metlife is definitely worth the price.
