Overall good value but could improve in some areas.
I have been a part of Nationwide Pet insurance for over 2 years. Luckily all I have only had to use the wellness rider, however, if I ever need to use insurance I am confident that the coverage will be of assistance. I wish Nationwide would consider items like Bravecto or topical medicines, if prescribed by the vet, to be reimbursable. These items are part of our dog's wellness and in my dog's case a chronic skin condition. That should be reimbursed somewhere within his policy. Other than that, this is the best investment you can make for your pet.

The premium may be expensive
The premium may be expensive but when it comes to service, you get what Trupanion pays for. Direct pay to the vet was awesome as I was looking at an almost $2k bill

I am very pleased with the ASPCA Pet Insurance Plan I have chosen for my cats. Particularly because I have three. One is very ill and thank God I have this insurance to help me with the Vet bills. The medication and treatments are helping to keep her comfortable.. The wellness plan is also great for my cats. They get their yearly check-ups and when necessary,follow- visits. I don't know what I would do with ASPCA Pet Insurance. Thank You. I recommend this insurance to all my friends who have pets.

Nationwide Best Pet Insurance Around!
I have a one year old golden retriever who has had several health issues and Nationwide has been there for me every time. I would highly recommend pet insurance to anyone that has a pet and my first choice would of course be Nationwide as they are a 10 in my eyes. Have found them to pay fairly and on a timely basis.

Thank you for your compassion
This insurance is totally legit. I have been told before that pet insurance is costly and does not cover anything. On the contrary, with the coverage I have, we are reimbursed 90%. When we had to put our beloved girl down we got a very compassionate phone call, where the lady listened to me cry and told me how sorry she was. It was lovely. I would highly recommend this insurance. It has been one of the best decisions I have made for our pets.

So glad I chose nationwide insurance
I chose this insurance when my pet had his first visit to the emergency room. A dinner of spare ribs cost me 800.00 because of my pet getting one and choking on it. It turned out fine for him but the cost was to steep for me so I chose nationwide after that. I’ve upgraded over the years but you never let us down
