Nationwide gives me peace of mind
Ever since I got pet insurance for Bella (my dog), I've been more at ease without hesitating to take her to the vet when I see things aren't right with her. Whether it be an ear infection, itchy skin, blood in her pee, etc. I now can just take her to a vet and know that Nationwide is there to help ease the pain of costly vet bills.

Pets Best took great care of us, of our beloved pup.
I can’t recommend Pets Best enough! Our young English Bulldog had a succession of medical incidents which cost us much more than we were prepared for. Pets Best not only reimbursed us most of the cost, they did it within a week. It’s such a comfort to know we can care for our fur baby as we would for our children and not make decisions based on the cost. Thank you Pets Best!

Efficient turn around of claims
Satisfied with the insurance but it has become quite expensive as our dog has aged.

$41.00 of an increase per month is too high!!
I love your customer service, but my monthly premium just increased by $41 per month which I find excessive. Other companies out there offer the exact same services for less money. I would hate to switch. Is there anything that can be done? I do not want to lessen Sula’s coverage. Thanks

Lucky to have Nationwide Pet Insurance
I am very lucky to have Nationwide Pet Insurance for my bulldog, Kevin. Even though he is only 3, he has been riddled with health issues including seizures, eye problems, abnormal blood work, infection after neuter and emergency stomach surgery (he ate a nerf football. Ugh!). Even a normal check-up would cost hundreds of dollars due to the blood work needed and pet preventatives (flea/tick and heartworm meds). Nationwide has been a Godsend! My only complaint is that the monthly premiums are going to increase 60% this year but it is still worth it for this dog.

Piece of cake
Having Dory insured has made managing her allergies a piece of cake. I never have to choose a cheaper medication option or sacrifice her care due to financial strain. She stays looking great because of Pets Best.

Impossible service
I've had a policy with Healthy Paws for five years, paid about $3,500 in premiums, and had one small claim. Because of a banking SNAFU and an unannounced Healthy Paws premium increase, Healthy Paws was unable to electronically collect the monthly premium on my policy. Healthy Paws immediately notified me of cancellation of my policy - no warning, no outreach, no grace period. I corrected the banking SNAFU and tried to contact Healthy Paws ten times, some by phone and some by email, but without connecting, for over a week. No replies to email, and the outgoing phone message said they weren't answering phone calls because of a "weather event." They had the wherewithal to immediately cancel my policy, notwithstanding the "weather event," but not to respond to my inquiries about policy reinstatement. Enough! I'm canceling this policy that has been so lucrative for Healthy Paws, but which they cannot service with even minimal customer service.

I recommend Pets Best
I have been with Pets Best since 2009 when I first insured my cats Maxwell and Gracie with them. They have both crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and now my Siamese Valerie May has a policy. She was rescued from a kill shelter by Fur kids, the no-kill, no-cage shelter I volunteer at. She wouldn't eat for 6 days and was about to be euthanized when Fur kids stepped in and immediately took her to a veterinarian. Dr. Evans took a blood panel screening, gave her fluids and pronounced her healthy. Valerie went home with a foster and I eventually adopted her. She is the sweetest, most gentle of souls and I cannot imagine how anyone could abandon her - especially to animal control. Unfortunately, she has had major dental problems and Pets Best has paid half of that. They have also just reimbursed me for 90% of vet. expenses due to excessive vomiting (gastroenteritis and a food allergy to chicken was diagnosed). The company now pays 90% of insured expenses and there is no cap on what they pay annually. I don't understand people who don't have insurance for their pets. I do recommend Pets Best to adopters who come to Fur kids. So if you get people buying insurance from Georgia a lot of them did so on my recommendation.
