best thing weve ever done is have pet insurance!!
Both our first dog, Turbo and now Lucky have benefited greatly from pet insurance. Turbo had two emergency surgeries and pet insurance helped us pay for more than half. Emergency vets are very expensive. Turbo had to have a neurosurgeon because he had a spinal cord injury. Our pets are family we would have maxed out credit cards to save them. Having the insurance helped greatly. We always recommend pet insurance to family and friends. Its like care for people, shouldnt have to choose between care and cost.

Amazing loving company
Pets Best was the best option for our family. It was super easy to use the app to submit claims and they were very quick to process the claims. When our dog passed they even sent us a card and the staff signed it! I wouldn’t go with any other company. Love them, worth every penny.

Great coverage, claims take too long to process and prices are skyrocketing
I went with Nationwide because they covered pretty much everything even though their prices were high. Submitting a claim is easy, but sometimes it take well over a month to get claim approved. Two things I really don't like that are actually turning me away-the price increase and what they consider "preexisting". First, I understand prices go up, but a 30% price increase overnight? My plan went up $240 for the year, making it totally not worth it anymore. Gradual increases are one thing, 30% increases are robbery. For that reason alone I will not be remaining with Nationwide. The other problem I had was Nationwide looking for any reason to claim something is oreexisitng to not pay out. My dog had allergies in the past, and then got an infection in her skin on her neck. Two separate things, the vet even wrote a note saying one had nothing to do with the other, but they claimed it was preexisting and wouldn't pay out, no matter how many times I fought it. I had to eat the $500 bill, plus pay for the insurance that covered nothing. So between that and the price increase, I will not be sticking with Nationwide.

Best Pet Insurance, Hands Down
I'm so thankful you this Pet Insurance. We were not sure if we could afford the added expense of a pet insurance policy to our household budget. But thank God we did!!!! HealtyPaws was the best pet insurance for the money. Our little pug Rocco who just turned two needed two major surgeries. Healthy paws were with us every step of the way. They check in with us to ask about Rocco and processed the claims in a timely and professional manner. Their online app is very easy to use. Thank you healthy paws for everything. Wish human insurance was this simple
I wish human insurance was this simple. Our pupper has allergies and odd reactions to medication and it's wonderful to be able to be reimbursed for his care so quickly and easily! When he developed a histiocytoma we were able to get him seen without worrying it would be a financial burden. I hope nothing about your service or pricing scales changes now that the company has been bought by a larger one.
