The policy for my greyhound is very good. The cost is reasonable and the reimbursements are very fair. The wait time for claim processing is very minimal.

Very satisfied
I give it a 10 rating. The only thing I find negative is the premiums. As a senior I am finding it harder to pay each month. Not sure how long I will be able to keep it.

Rate increase
I was happy with the two claims we submitted this last year, however I had to drop Figo as our rates DOUBLED. I can understand that rates will increase every year, but to double the rates was troubling to me. Is this a bait and switch? I am very disappointed.h

Worst experience ever
After making a claim ,I found out that because my dog was over 10 when I had to put him down . I have a 500.00 deductable. And a co pay . And cremation covered 100.00 but not covered was putting him to sleep. Makes no sense. I feel it all a scam . I thought they would be here for me in my time of need. It's All about the money.... Been paying for 11 years at average 20.00 a month around 2640.00 now have to pay more bull.

I tell everyone I meet about Nationwide and how they have saved my best friend Ally
Without Nationwide (even when her monthly cost went up) has saved my dog with the reimbursement of her media al bills. It is well worth the cost.

Good pet insurance
I’ve had Nationwide for over 6 years. I’ve never really used them until October of 2019. My dog was diagnosed with lymphoma and my vet bills racked up within weeks I had put $3000 on my credit card. Nationwide’s online claim submission was fast and easy and they paid all of my dogs claims. However my premium went from $45 dollars a month to $65 a month after he got sick... I’m not sure how I feel about them increasing my premium by $20...

Premiums way to high compared to what is
The Deductible of $500.00 was a bit much. Not paying at least half of the bill was a big shock, considering how much I pay every month. Premiums way to high and nothing is covered. If the cost came close to what I have already paid

Great response.
Great response. I am always a bit disappointed by how deductible is applied as it feels like coverage isn't as good as I expected.

Simple process quick payment, high deduc
Process was simple, but deductible still make me question whether or not the insurance is worth it at 198.00 per month for my 2 dogs for 3 years. I'm still losing money.
