I would not be without Nationwide insurance for Dustie.
Nationwide is the best Insurance for a pet. I just helped my sister sign up with her cat. I recommend it to everyone. It has covered all costs for Dustie's UTI problems. Tests and meds. She has to be watched closely and I am comfortable knowing she is protected.

Glad to have insurance but a bit costly
Seems like unless there is a true medical situation, you rarely meet the deductible. However, the service has been prompt and efficient. I would not want to be without insurance if that real medical situation came up.

A life saver!
So thankful I got pet insurance! I have already recommended Trupanion to friends and family as it is truly a life saver. I was worried at first that it might be like car insurance where you have to fight to get support, but the process was such a breeze.

Coverage poorly conveyed; spay was not covered.
I specifically got this insurance because I noticed that Spay was a covered surgery. I just had my dog spayed, with costs for complications, and called for another reason, only to discover the spay was NOT covered. I was under the impression it was covered under my current plan....the specific reason for using this insurance. I'm really not satisfied to have a policy that piecemeals these types of costs. Somewhere along the line, information was not accurately conveyed. Not a happy camper and may not stay with this insurance.

Thank you for the coverage
Raki was limping one evening after I got home from work. I made an appointment for the next day, and they saw him & asked if I wanted x-rays to make sure there was no hairline fracture, and of course, I said "yes". Luckily, nothing was broken, and he just needed rest (and no running or jumping until the injury got better) Everything was covered by insurance except the deductible and tax! I am so grateful to have pet insurance!

Dont do it - just more big insurance games to take your money and not pay off on claims.
Had embrace insurance for 2 years. In April of this year the terms were changed without notice, there is new limits on payouts. Now they will refuse to pay off a dental claim any more than $1000 a year after their deductible. That is less than it costs for a yearly premium. IT COSTS MORE in yearly premiums that they will pay out. This is a total scam and will only take your money.

After 15 years of insuring my dogs with Nationwide/formerly VPI, I'm still happy with all aspects of coverage.
Nationwide Pet Insurance has helped me take good care of my dogs without financial worries. I like the coverage I get for the price I pay. I especially appreciate that the claims representatives always figure out how to get me the best payment per my policy. I will continue to recommend this insurance to others, and will always have my animals covered by them. Buddy (may he rest in peace), Snoopy (may she live a long and healthy life) and I thank you!

Fantastic and very reliable coverage and service.
We have had the pet coverage for nearly a year and have filed several claims because our dog developed allergies. Nationwide covered most services. Great coverage and timely processing
