Not great but good.

Insurance is not great but is good. Not great because the overall monthly price is very high and coverage still does not cover everything and what is covered is only a portion of each service. So this offsets some expenses but definitely is not like regular health insurance if your comparing.

Great Service for Pets

We have had this insurance for years and it is, by far, the best investment we have ever made. I wish they could run all insurance of all types the same way - not just for pets but for people, cars, boats, homes, RVs, etc. This works the way all insurance is supposed to work. I recommend it to everyone every chance I get and living in a 55+ community that is very often.

Helps make pet ownership a little more affordable

While I am still on the fence about having pet insurance, I have carried this for 5 years. My dog is getting older now and I know if anything happens I will need help in paying for it. So this is really more insurance for his later years but unfortunately you have to buy it while they're young before they have any conditions arise that would be considered preconditions. Question you have to ask yourself is could you put a certain amount away every month to help pay for your pets needs? If you can then you may not need insurance. 50 way the cost per month of the insurance compared to what you might spend it may be less but it can also be more. And that's the thing about insurance. You are paying for those just-in-case moments. In this case oh, it has helped me to a degree. I purchased the insurance after my dog has been diagnosed with his allergies issues so unfortunately, none of that is covered. But everything else that has had no problem with.

I recommend Nationwide pet insurance to anyone with a pet

Nationwide is awesome & affordable. I barely paid anything for my dog's annual shots/preventative visits. The plan I have even covered his nail trimming! Claims are super easy to file online. You just upload a picture of your vet bill & send it in. It gives me peace of mind knowing that if something ever happens to my dog I wont go into debt trying to pay for his medical expenses and the reimbursement check arrived fairly quickly. Thank you Nationwide!

Good coverage bad payment vendor

The service is good I am please with the policy coverage, but the Chase payment method you use is bad and I do not wish to get paper checks its a pity change vendors!

Great coverage and reimbursement

I’ve had nationwide previously VPI for many years. Always satisfied. But this year my premium went up to $666 dollars. Outrageous!!! Increased double in 2 years. Want to know why. Last year increase was $150. This year $200 increase.

Thank goodness I have insurance and you are the best

I think I have good insurance on my two yorkies. With the premiums that I pay, I would like to see the insurance company pay more. If your animal has been spayed, neutered, microchip, or any other items that is a one time deal, the insurance should charge less for premium or pay more and other service. Please take this to the board and see what can be done. The customers are paying for services that they don’t need. If you are a new customer, I can see needing those services. My two yorkies have a wonderful vet

Claims process was so seamless and quick

Our 4 month Goldendoodle, Maddie broke her leg 4 weeks ago. It happened in the evening which meant it was a visit to the emergency vet, where X-rays were taken and a splint applied. The next day we went to our vet and it was decided she needed surgery. All my claims were processed and paid within 10 days, if not sooner. They allowed all the charges except for office visits (which we knew ahead of time). I was already impressed and then I received a personal email a couple weeks after surgery asking how Maddie was doing after her surgery. They have met and exceeded my expectations. I feel safe having all 3 of my dogs insured by them.

Great program, watch rate increases

I have had Figo for a year and been very happy with the service. From the virtual vet (which we have used numerous times for my dog that likes to eat anything) to the easy claim service and payment, we have been really happy. They did try to do an increase when we moved to a lower cost state (NY to IN), but we got them to move to lower options after a short call with their team. Overall, we have been really happy with the service and customer interactions.

Love this insurance!

Figo Pet Insurance is awesome! The policies are straightforward and easy to understand. The customer service is incredibly friendly and filing a claim couldn't be easier. The turn around time from when the claim is filed to receiving reimbursement is FAST! I love that I don't have to worry about cost when needing to make decision about treatment for either of my dogs. Proud to be part of the Figo Family!
