Easy to submit invoices for claims and quick turnaround on claims and refund. Cover all as they represent. We have had it on our rescue dog for 7 years and plan to continue. I like that is deductibles are based on a per injury/illness event for the life of the pet as long as you pay the premiums versus on an annual basis. I would highly recommend this company for your pet insurance.

Trupanion has done everything they promised when I began coverage for my Bordeaux. I purchased the insurance to cover any ER situations and the plan did just that. My pup had an unexpected life threatening situation that required a complicated surgery. Trupanion covered 90% of the surgery and all the associated cost, even the special dog food. We look forward to continuing our relationship with this insurance company.

Why do you not cover exams?
I have always had good experiences with the insurance, but what I don't understand is that you do not cover any exam fees, even when it is related to an injury or illness. That is my only complaint.

Love Our Trupanion Pet Insurance
Excellent value, easy to submit claims online, and reimbursement is prompt. Wish they would allow "pre-existing conditions" to be covered when insurance coverage is expanded from conventional treatment to massage/acupuncture. Otherwise I am very happy with Trupanion!

Best Pet Insurance Available!
I have had a policy on my dog, Winston, the last 6 years. Trupanion has enabled me to give him the best care available. Trupanion is quick and efficient in how they handle claims and I would recommend them (and I do frequently) to anyone.

Well worth the money!
Always very quick to approve claims, and have helped tremendously through the years with some very substantial vet bills. I will never own an uninsured dog!

Other than the increases in policy costs over the years the service has been very good and my vet has recommended Trupanion so I trust them that you pay when it is needed and thankfully to date it has not been so
