I work in a vet hospital and went ahead and got insurance because I can save on preventative care. I have had great luck so far and I have heard a lot of our clients enjoy nationwide as well. I’ve only had it about 3 months and my pet has already reached the deductible. So far all good!

Peace of Mind
Over the past year we have been through a lot with our adorable Maltepoo Sophie.She was diagnosed with ITP and we almost lost her twice. She is now healthy and well with no relapses in a year and enjoying life to the fullest.She will still need rechecks in the future but she is off all her medications and back to a normal life. She is the love and joy of our lives and we are so thankful we still have her with us. This would not have been possible without Trupanion. They have been with us each and every step of the way providing the understanding, care and financial help we needed to give Sophie the hospitalization in ICU, tests, treatment plans, medications and follow up care she required. This gave us the peace of mind we needed amidst the uncertainty we were facing. We knew we could do whatever was necessary to make her well again without having to worry about the financial strain. I cannot say enough good things about Trupanion and continue to tell everyone I know to please, please insure your pet with Trupanion. You just don't know what the future will bring for your beloved fur baby. We have had our Sophie insured since she was a year old and it has paid off in spades throughout the 11 years she has been with us even with the minor things and most recently with this critical situation. Sophie also has a cataract which was scheduled for surgery but we have had to postpone due to the ITP diagnosis. it was already pre approved by Trupanion and we hope to be able to proceed with that in the near future. Thanks Trupanion for helping us keep our Sophie healthy and well and part of our family.

Everyone I've talked to on the phone has been friendly and helpful. I'm praying that my baby's heart murmur treatment will be covered. The rates are a little high, but with a $0 deductible I can't complain.

Mainly because i haven't had to make a claim until now.
Mainly because i haven't had to make a claim until now. I do wish the monthly rates were more affordable! I have had a significant drop in income as a widowed 60 yr old on a disability pension and now with the 250 deductible that i had to pay, i have no money and no food, and couldn't pay a cpl of my other monthly bills. I need my dog as a companion to keep my mental health stable and depression at bay, so i want her protected, but at $70 a month and as i said a 250 deductible, it certainly is hard on me financially. Is there not a special lower rate for people like me?
