Trupanion web page makes it easy to log in and submit claims. I appreciate receiving confirmation emails when the claim is received, being processed and approved. I also appreciate that the checks are processed in a very short time. The cost for the policy is expensive, but it's worth the cost when reimbursements are handled well and fairly.

Cindy Lou's surgery
I am so happy with trupanion. They were there for us. They are quick and efficient. The filing process couldn't be easier. The staff handling the phones are as friendly and helpful as can be. The insurance claims were processed in a more then timely manor. The checks to cover my claim came before the credit card bill that I used to pay for her surgery originally. Focus on your pet, not the cost
Making a claim is minimal effort which is a lifesaver when a pet owner is beside themselves with worry. I'm so glad I signed up for Trupanion when my furry family member was a pup. During Covid-19, when my finances are tight, Trupanion enabled me to get the care my pet needed with minimal expense. Please keep in mind the coverage doesn't cover taxes, consultation fees, preventive care or preexisting conditions. These items are not included and are additional expenses beyond the deductible and the 10% owed. Regardless, I would still encourage all pet owners to get pet insurance through Trupanion for peace of mind. Thank you!

I am very pleased with Nationwide. Claims are easy to submit, claim reviews are outstandingly quick turnarounds, reimbursement of claims are always fair, and the check is always in the mail pronto! Newsletters are informative, and keeps you updated! I always refer anyone who inquires what insurance I carry to Nationwide.

Better Than I Expected
I purchased health insurance for my dog when he was five years old. I spent several months researching all the companies out there because honestly, I was skeptical that companies wouldn't be reliable, trustworthy, wouldn't actually pay out when the time came. But, I've been down the end-of-life road with several dogs and it rips your heart out while wiping out your finances. I needed to be prepared and chose Healthy Paws. A year ago my dog had a large tumor that required a splenectomy and numerous expensive tests. Thankfully we caught and removed the cancer before it could spread. The bills totaled around $10,000 between checkups, surgery, ultrasounds, x-rays, and meds. Healthy Paws paid my claims without issue, and paid them promptly. My Babydog is 13 now and has been diagnosed with transitional cell carcinoma. With chemotherapy, if it works, he should be around for another comfortable and active year. Once again, the cost is astounding. If I were paying for this on my own, I would be tens of thousands of dollars into credit card debt. Or Rex would be gone. I can't stress enough how valuable Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has been to us financially. Also, they are always polite. They answer questions promptly. They pay claims promptly and without hassle. And they donate money to local animal shelters throughout the country. I really can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws and my experience with them. I wish my own health insurance worked as well.
