Great insurance coverage
This is great insurance to cover a pet. All the medications like flea and tick, heart worm and yearly shots are covered. That in itself is beneficial. The years a health problem pops up, then it’s extremely beneficial. We’ve recommended this insurance to family members. We’re very happy!

It was such a relief to to have my dog
I am really happy that Nationwide helped with the cost of getting my sick boy fixed. He had a surgery that was really expensive and I wouldn't have been able to cover it on my own. It's nice to have that relief and know my dogs are going to be taken care of when they need it, instead of letting them suffer.

I've been with Trupanion for years!
I've been with Trupanion for years! I chose them originally after much research before adopting a pair of Ragdoll x mill rescues. Within the first year, both kittens had multiple life-threatening medical episodes, and trupanion helped my family every step of the way. Now 4 cats and 6 years later, we have saved thousands on medical bills that would otherwise have not been affordable. My asthmatic senior is definitely in good hands with the 90% coverage on all his care. Their agents are always super kind and helpful, by phone or the chat. For anyone considering insurance for their pet, new or old, baby or middle-aged, this company is amazing care and value!

Happy with Buddy's Insurance
Have done well with Nationwide for our younger pet. Reimbursements are fast and ususally pay most of the bill. I would recommend Nationwide for those who can get the same type of policy that pays out a higher percentage for everything. My older pet could not get the same policy, which I am not happy with.

Doing what is expected
Honestly, the insurance has served us well over the years. Ming's brother Ziggy had 2 cancer operations and he is still with us relatively ok after 2 more years. I cancelled his insurance after the 2nd surgery as I don't believe he could take another operation. Both Shar-Peis are well beyond avg expected life spans 13 yrs and still ok. But the insurance keeps going up every year. Ming has never really had a sick day. If we don't keep paying it will all be wasted on him. So it seems after you have invested for 13 years, you dare not quit. But that is the nature of insurance. ALL in all Nationwide has paid the claims and in reasonable time. And it was very handy when we needed it for the operations.

Quick and Easy Claim and Refund Process
I got a new pup at the beginning of the year and knew that there would be lots of vet visits for check ups and vaccines so I decided to invest in pet insurance. I am constantly thanking my past-self for that decision. The process to submit a claim is quick and easy. I typically receive a response and reimbursement within a week or two without a ton of back and forth. The best part is the peace of mind to be able to give my dog the best care without having to worry that it'll break the bank.

Having a Pets Best Insurance policy for my Sheltie, Bay Breeze, has definately relieved a lot of the financial headaches that I used to experience when an unexpected medical emergency would arise with my pets. Knowing that I will be reimbursed 90% of the cost of any claim I file for Bay allows me to make choices when it comes to his care based on what is best for him and not on what I can afford to do financially. I no longer worry about how I am going to pay for the unexpected vet visit thanks to my Pets Best policy. I'm glad I have Pet Insurance, and hope I use it very little if at all.
I've been with Nationwide for many years. Pet insurance is very affordable, and you hope you don't need to use it. But, when you do the process is very simple, and claims are paid quickly. The big reason for me having it, is I don't ever want to be in a position where it comes down to money or my dogs health. I want to do whatever is possible for my dogs health, and well being.
