Very easy claim process and very quick reimbursement. Had we not had Trupanion we would've been almost $11k out of pocket for our dog's knee surgeries. Best decision we ever made was to get Trupanion when we got our dog.

Great Experience!
I really appreciate the transparency with Trupanion. It was really easy and quick to submit my first claim. I looked into several pet insurance providers last year when I was switching from my last insurer (who I never submitted a claim to and still had increases every year), and am really happy I chose Trupanion. I've already referred a few friends and family to them.

Great service but expensive
Good customer service, but product is expensive with many reasons to lower claims. I would recommend self insurance to friends. Too late for me to start for Buck.

Furry child care

Reaching Sarah M with 1 phone call to, to talk over what happened to my cat with a sudden issue, and to review how easy it will be to get my payments reimbursed, was SO very helpful and reduced my stress a great deal! Trupanion's service was excellent from the beginning of my claim to depositing the funds in my account. My 8 yr old little poodle had a medical emergency which took numerous tests, medications and several trips to our veterinarian. Needless to say my vet bills were very large and I submitted a claim to Trupanion which they took care of quickly and efficiently, after my deductible I was covered for 90% of my claim. That was a huge blessing and I'm very thankful I have had pet insurance on my little Cocoa since she was a puppy. Thank you Trupanion.
