Need to update benefit/coverage Costs
My coverage renewal went up significantly when moving to MD, yet converge for services remained at sale level as previous state. Many of the rates of payment are far below standard costs at the veterinarian these days. While we are pleased to have some reimbursement on fees for our visits and care, I hope that someone will look into ‘average price’ for the areas where people live, and coverage of supplements that are aiding in preventative/medical care. Everyone chooses to start pets on meds as part of a treatment plan with a veterinarian’s recommendation... if that is the case, they should be included in the benefits you provide. B

Great pet insurance for unexpected illness
I was often worried that I was wasting money on pet insurance, but Trupanion changed my mind! They were recommended by my veterinarian friend, and I couldn’t be more pleased. My 6 year old Maltese needed knee surgery amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, which couldn’t have happened at a worse time financially. They covered my pets surgery and sent a check within two weeks! Thank you Trupanion.

Good to have in an emergency

Bladder Stones Removed
Our female cat has gone through two surgeries in less than two years for stones in her bladder. Nationwide promptly paid most of the bills with the exception of the deductible. Thank you for being there for us.

I was glad to have claims processed quickly and hassle free even when purchasing prescribed supplements from non vet suppliers. Just wish more vets did direct pay, it was a bit stressful coming up with all the money upfront. I'm so glad pet insurance allowed me to have 3 (Or hopefully more?) months to say goodbye to my baby instead of having to put him down at the time of his diagnosis due to surgery costs.

Well Sara was great but I was only trying to update my credit card info for billing.
Well Sara was great, but I was only trying to update my credit card info for billing. Handled nicely. I am extremely happy with Trupanion because my poor boy has very expensive meds. It would be almost impossible for me to pay for them without your help. I would find a way, but it would require me to cut down on essential items. And it is easy to file claims with trupanion ??
