Best Pet Insurance Available Anywhere. Period.
We are so grateful to have Healthy Paws Pet insurance and recommend it to every pet owner we meet. Our Standard poodle went in for her annual exam with a neurologist after having two seizures within 8 days. Due to Covid-19 she was overdue. For the first time in 6 years her physical exam was not 100% and the vet thought she might have experienced a stroke. She suggested an MRI and the bill for the day at the animal hospital was $2,875. We are so grateful for Healthy Paws. With our plan 90% was covered. It’s wonderful that because we have pet insurance we can afford to provide excellent veterinary care for our dog and not stress about the cost. We wish we had known about Healthy Paws for our previous Standard poodle who was treated for cancer (lymphoma) and died young at 8 years 8 months. When she was two years old she accidentally broke her leg which was under the couch and she was startled getting up. In 2003 the emergency visit to the animal hospital bill was over $4,000. I adopted 2 - 6 months kittens and was recommended to purchase insurance. Since a few years ago I had a dog with no insurance the last couple of years with him were extremely expensive and I did not want to go through that again. My smaller cat has gotten sick twice and needed to go to the emergency hospital and had to stay for 5 nights to try to control his fever. I was grateful to know that I didn't have to worry about how will I pay this vet bill. Healthy Paws has made it so simple to file a claim, the claims can be approved within 3 to 3 weeks and the explanation is thorough and simple to understand. Healthy Paws is A life saver
Recently Minnie was slowing down. We went to our local vet and he did an xray and some blood work and everything looked normal. He asked if he could run an ekg. We said yes. The ekg showed a 3rd degree av blockage and the only fix is a pacemaker. Our vet said Minnie needed the pacemaker that day to avoid going into cardiac arrest so we drove her to the nearest cardiologist and had the procedure done. Not once did we have to worry about the cost as we knew we had Healthy Paws. We just needed to worry about Minnie. She is now home and recovering really well. Thank you Healthy Paws.

Trupanion saved me thousands of dollars!
Trupanion saved me thousands of dollars on my dogs TPLO surgery! I'm so glad that my dog is insured by them! Trupanion does pay out their claims and I had no problem at all with the process. I submitted my claim on a Sunday and by Tuesday my money was I'm my account. Trupanion makes it very clear what is and what isn't covered before signing up so anyone considering it just has to make sure they read everything before.

I don't remember how I came across Healthy Paws pet insurance...it was years ago. But I'm glad it did. My dog Tillie has had chronic health issues and Healthy Paws has always paid promptly. She recently had gall bladder surgery and the bill was almost $10,000. Healthy Paws paid 80% of this within a week. Pet insurance isn't cheap and the premiums go up as they age. But with Tillie, the cost has balanced out in our favor and we don't have to put a monetary value on our pet's well-being. Having pet insurance for out two "babies" has been well worth the peace of mind.

Trupanion is the best Pet Insurance you can buy!!
We purchased Trupanion when Dakota was just a puppy. 12+ years of Dakota's life so far, Trupanion has been with us all the way. Never thinking anything will happen to her, we went ahead with her policy. As time went by accidents happened, medication required and ongoing conditions continue. Trupanion is the only Insurance Company that doesn't have fine print, you know exactly what is covered. They receive the claim from our Vet, notify us that they received it and let you know when it's complete. Usually within a day. Right away, they deposit the funds. They couldn't be a better Co. to work with. Never any hassles!! Thank you Trupanion for all your support with Dakota's Hip Replacement, Torn ACL and ongoing coverage for allergies etc.

There is no point in paying for this.
There is no point in purchasing an insurance plan to be told that your pet has a pre existing condition even if there is no prof of it. The vet and hospital can’t find anything pre existing in their records yet the insurance is claiming that. We were promised that as long as the dog was healthy and medical records didn’t show issues, the surgery would be covered. We kept the insurance and paid on it for almost a year every month. He needed a surgery and the insurance claims the issue was pre existing yet we bought the insurance only a few days after getting the puppy. Now we have a 4,000 bill and a monthly payment each month only to be told they don’t cover anything. Unbelievable.
