I am so glad I bought pet insurance and I tell all my friends when they get a pet to make sure and get the pet insurance. I had one friend who thought $40 was too much. She wound up paying $2000 and then had the dog put down as the ple disease was too expensive to treat. That is the same disease Ollie has and we have been able to treat it some years now thanks to the pet insurance. Ollie is alive and well, has to get regular checkups where they adjust his meds, but this month he turns 8! So there! Buy pet insurance.

Allergy
Dog has allergy requiring recurring allergy med prescription. Is there no way to put in for med refill reimbursement without going through a new claim process with each refill?

Very helpful in fulfilling claims during the loss of our Pet, due to a sudden illness.
All testing and examinations for our loved pet were reviewed and covered within 5 business days. Unfortunately the sudden illness was terminal. Misha provided much love and comfort in our lives....she is missed but not forgotten. Thank You Embrace for your sympathy card and candle lit in Misha's memory.

There is a large gap between your marketing of animal insurance and your delivery. All I get is constant denials to vet bills.
I cannot give you anything but a poor review. Any claim sent to you that even remotely relates to allergies, you deny. Animal are like humans in many ways. Their allergies are increasing just as humans. Your insurance is covering minimal animal issues. You are treating it as if it were an insurance policy on a vehicle. An insurance company that has experience in auto, home and commercial property insurance does not have the knowledge or experience in animal insurance.

My fourth Kerry Blue and first time I've purchased coverage for a dog. I learned - or got reminded due to having two other kinds of terriers plus these terriers - their curiosity gets them into trouble. Racoons in the night, jumping to high, digging too often, you get the picture. They are active and live up to their reputation and Trupanion lives up to it's reputation.
