Life saver
As a senior on a fixed income I would not have been able to give my dog the care she needs to keep her alive for as long as we have. I'm eternally grateful for Trupanion and their caring staff.

When our 4 year old Yellow Lab rescued when she was 7 months. old developed a rare condition, it turned out to be treatable but not curable. Without Trupanion we would not have been able to afford all the testing and medication.

Zero Values, Zero Empathy, Zero Customer Service
I requested to cancel my policy after my beloved dog Sasha passed away. I never received any confirmation that this was completed. I kept being charged for 3 additional months of coverage. Once I cancelled my credit card, they finally engaged with trying to 'keep me' as a customer. I have reached out no fewer than 5 times via their website and cannot get out of their automated system. It is painful enough to lose a pet. This company compounded my pain by continuing to send me reasons I needed to keep her coverage. They won't respond to refund the months covered after she died. I can't get them on the phone or get them to respond to my messages. PS- they never covered a penny of her care despite having a clean bill of health for 4+ years under their plan.
