Flabbergasted and AMAZED!
I enrolled our English golden cream retriever at the get- go of 8 weeks old. I remember my husband scoffing and telling me that it was ridiculous. I am here to tell you that THE best money you can spend is on your furry friend with Trupanion. Our baby tore her ACL and Trupanion did not hesitate to pick up the cost. It was approved before the Orthopedic vet Clinic even had the chance to tell us. Talk about a blessing on a day that was already filled with anxiety and the fact I did not have to mail in my invoice and wait for approval. Trupanion worked directly with the Vet Clinic of our choice. So not only do I highly recommend getting pet insurance through Trupanion, I HIGHLY advise ALL reputable vet clinics to have a relationship with Trupanion. Feeling extremely grateful for the team that supported our beautiful dog, Bluebell.

Trupanion An Investment For Your Pet
Trupanion is great in processing claims. If your Vetrinary Office accepts Trupanion they bill and process the claims on site. If you need to submit it yourself, they are amazingly timely in turn around with their decisions. My only wish is that that would cover office visits and suck things as bland expression , ear cleaning etc as I have a pet that medically needs these services and they canât be done at home.

First time a submitting invoice. Receptionist did at the vet at checkout. Took 5 minutes. Trupanion paid their part. It was that east.

Worst insurance provider
They are incredibly difficult to work with. There customer service can’t answer questions about my coverage despite buying insurance before I got my dog as a pup. They use a script that’s no different than speaking with a chatbot or an automated voice recording. When you submit a claim they keep asking for more information such as the entire medical history of my dog from his vet every time. Then after submitting what I was given by the vet they still say it’s not enough details. Why don’t they just allow vets to easily submit the claims so they can work with them directly to get the information they need. I would advise anyone looking to get insurance from them to reconsider because at the end of the day you’ll spend more time going back and forth than the cost of any claim.

Healthy Paws Best Pet Insurance
I have had my pet’s medical insured though Healthy Paws since she was a puppy and it has come in handy when you least expect an emergency to occur. My pet h had accidentally eaten a medication pill that dropped on the floor. I took her to the ER where they monitored her heart and set up an IV to remove the toxicity in her body. They observed her overnight at the hospital. Of course the cost was great but, Healthy Paws was able to process the claim within 3 days and made my financial burden less so that I was able to take good care of my pet. It is worth purchasing pet insurance as, you never will know when an accident will occur.
