Dealing with Cushing
My pet has Cushing disease and as a result needs monthly refills of his medication which can become costly. Pet Best reimburses me for at least 80% of what I pay which is very helpful and very appreciative. They inform you right away of the status of your claim and then reimburses you in a timely fashion.
Lola - Dealing with Bladder cancer
It had been a very long and stressful year dealing with my dog Lola fighting against cancer. Lot of doctor visits, medication and chemo sessions that would not be possible without the support of "PetsBest" insurance. It helps to alleviate the worry knowing that she can receive her treatment without worrying about high medical bills. We still have to pay for those expenses, but the "Claims" process is easy to follow; the company refunds are processed very quickly at 90% rate after deductible which for sure helps to keep the treatment going
Amazing
Having pet best insurance was extremely easy to use and helped financially.
Luxating Patella Surgery
One of my pups recently had luxating patella surgery, and I am so glad that I had coverage from Pets Best, as orthopedic surgery is not cheap. I am in the veterinary field, so I have gone back and forth with myself about keeping coverage for my animals (I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, so it adds up quick) but this has definitely proven to me that it is totally worth every penny, because I was able to get my girl the best care possible, knowing I would get some of my money reimbursed to make it less stressful, financially. Filing the claim, uploading medical records, and everything was so easy. I was shocked by how quick the whole process was, and how quickly I was able to get the reimbursement. It helps me feel much more at ease, knowing that Pets Best is here to help if my animals need any sort of specialty, or emergency care. Even if you only have accident/illness coverage, it helps with the more unexpected things that come up. Overall I am very happy with my experience, and definitely recommend Pets Best to anyone who is looking to get pet insurance for their furry friends.
Lenny's bladder stones
When we purchased Pets Best insurance for our adopted dog, Lenny, we hope we wouldn't have to use it for anything other than routine care. When he was diagnosed with bladder stones, the x-rays and surgery proved quite costly. Thankfully, Pet's Best system made it easy to file claims and they paid promptly. Glad we did it!
definitely not for exotic pets
There are very few exotic pet insurances out there, and I was told metlife was the exception. I was told wrong. I have had multiple complications and misinformation about my policy and what it covers from the moment I got my quote. I was told my policy would cover spay/neuter over the phone, but now I am told it isn't covered, and I am out 4,000 dollars with no assistance. (I have a rex rabbit btw)

Best pet insurance
I was able to give my dog the care he needed to save his life thanks to Healthy Paws. The claims process was simple, and reimbursement was fast. I could not ask for better service or care during a stressful time. There are no words to express my gratitude to my pet insurance company.

Better to not have insurance
They hide everything in the fine print. Their accident and illness plan doesn’t cover the emergency exam portion of your emergency visit which is often half of the price of taking your pet to an emergency vet. They also only pay $150 towards spay/neuter and won’t cover anything that is labeled as pre-op such as medications or the pre-op visit, even though they advertise covering spay/neuter. We paid $71/month for 9 months with a new puppy (lots of exams, vaccines, office visits, neuter, and emergency visits) and got reimbursed a whopping $200 total in that time because nothing is covered or even counts toward your deductible. It makes more sense to not have this insurance.
Asked me to return their reimbursements
ASPCA has been great... until last week, they reached out to me saying they had an error in their system, and they accidentally approved several claims that I had over 6+ months ago that they now believe were potentially caused by a preexisting condition. Which is not the case. And they now have the audacity to ask me to repay them over $600 in the next 30 days from reimbursements they made to me literally over 6 months ago. Absolutely absurd and unacceptable. I am good about not submitting claims that are truly for preexisting conditions, so this is just truly disappointing.

Pet Partners is a Waste of Money
Pet Partners is happy to take your money, but not to actually pay legitimate claims nor communicate changes in policy. An absolute waste of money. They neglected to tell me my dogs had “aged out” but kept taking my premiums for extra policies. When my Golden had an accident and tore his CCL (acl) they informed me that vets consider this injury an “orthopedic illness” and therefore not covered as an accident. This is absolute rubbish. There is language in the declarations page about a waiting period for CCL/ACL coverage but NO ACTUAL COVERAGE.
