Both the pre-approval, and final claim for my dog's dental surgery were processed quickly and efficiently, great communication and the reimbursement was in my account in just a few days.

Very easy to make our claim
It was all very easy to make our claim. The dog ate a chocolate advent calendar. We took her to the vet and called Furkin to see if it was covered. Yep, it was. They emailed me a form, I filled it out and filed by email and we were paid shortly thereafter.

Not perfect but still highly recommended
Great experience. In reality few vets in my area at least do direct billing with Trupanion. Had to pay up front and way for reimbursement.

Worst nightmare
I had sent this over to Healthypaws customer service. “ I had contacted you guys several times regarding to my pet claim and for the third time the agent had assured me that they had received all the documents and yet I still get the message saying I need to upload my dog’s medical record. I had cancelled my card and will not continue this insurance since you guys are everyone’s worst nightmare to have insurance with. I truly do not understand how you guys are still operating as a business. I will spread as many reviews as possible so you guys can have your true color shown. ” Not your money worth.
