The insurance website is very basic. Everything you have to call and it will be long. Every claim you make, they will take more than a month to respond. Honestly, look for another insurance.

Trupanion is the best pet insurance
Trupanion has given us the ability to get excellent medical care for our dogs-from lymphoma to IBD, our dogs were able to have all of the treatment available. Claims were so easy to submit-just scan and text or email them. Claims were paid in less than a week-and, they were paid out exactly as documented in our policies-no surprise deductions or exemptions as we have had in the past with other pets-and a different insurance company.

Thankful for Healthy Paws Pet Insurance
I can't say enough about Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. I bought the policy when I rescued my dog at 11 months and he is now 10 1/2. I have submitted many claims throughout the years without questions asked other than occasional veterinary notes for review to substantiate my claims that have been very high. It provides me the comfort to know I can take the best care of my boy, Petey. He has torn 2 ACL's in the last couple years which has cost me ~12,000 dollars and most recently he has been diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis and was referred to a specialist for evaluation that cost ~3,500 and now be undergoing Hyperbaric oxygen treatment that is about ~1,500. Healthy Paws has stood by their policy every step of the way. Over the years I have definitely received more money back in reimbursement than I have paid in premiums. I wish medical insurance was this good for humans!

Once again, Trupanion hasn't disappointed me. I called Trupanion hoping, but not expecting, to get help paying for my cats dental work. Boomer had gingivitis and his gums were red and inflamed and he needed help. Trupanion stepped in and helped in a big way! Thank you so much, Trupanion!
Best Pet Insurance
Before I was able to bring my puppy home, the breeder would not release him until I showed proof of pet insurance. So I had no choice but to purchase pet insurance. I was going to cancel because everyone was telling me to. Thank god I didn’t! My puppy got very sick and was admitted to the hospital! Healthy Paws acted on my claims immediately! I was reimbursed within a few days! They are hands down the best! I tell people to give up a manicure or for the guys, order a few less beers and get pet insurance!

Fitz pneumonia
When the need was greatest Trupanion was there for us. Fitz was given less than a 20% chance of survival. I wanted him to have every chance possible. The doctors, Trupanion and Fitz will to live have given him a 2nd chance at life!
Review of Our Newest Insurer
We had been with 24 Pet Watch for almost 10 years. We recently enrolled our 2 new pups with Pets Plus Us. The enrolment following our puppy trial was very smooth. The customer service level of expertise is commendable. The claim process is faster then they forecast, which is great. Their explanation of benefits is clear and easy to understand. We had a major exclusion situation that lasted 5 1/2 months. With several emails, appeals from supporting veterinary and with the review from Pets Plus Us, underwriting team, it was resolved and all my claims were adjudicated, processed and paid out. I am very please thus far with this company. They truly do have Pet's owners best interest at Heart ~ Caroline Ottawa - Ontario
Healthy Paws for the win
Our puppy was electrocuted and was hospitalized for six days. If it wasn’t for our friends that recommended insurance through Healthy Paws, we would have had to put Odysseus down. Healthy Paws is affordable and covers almost everything. All we had to do is take a picture of the paid invoice and upload it to the app. It was also easy to speak to customer service on the phone. We can’t speak highly enough about the company.
