Life and bank account saver

Trupanion i was introduced to when I moved by our new vet clinic. They have been a godsend in how fast they process claims and what they cover. Now with their Express program you only pay what you owe at your vet now instead of waiting for the check to arrive and you paying everything out of pocket.

Trupanion- True to their word

Since we have been insured with Trupanion, (3) yrs., anytime we have requested informationwe have received excellent customer service in a prompt reply. Recently our Black Russian Terrier had to have a procedure for his hip problem. When our dog was insured at the age of 6-8 weeks, we choose to cover him for Hip Dysplasia. From the start of requesting a quotation to the claim payout, we received prompt attention and a very fast payout- within one week of the procedure date. Turpanion’s customer service far exceeds customer expectations. I would highly recommend Trupanion for pet insurance, and I will continue to use them in the future. Cynthia, Toronto, Ontario

Trupanion delivers.

Very happy with the Trupanion program. They were very helpful and supportive during a stressful and serious injury to my puppy's eye. Communication through out the claim process was stellar and the reimbursement check was sent quickly. They seem to sincerely care.

Trupanion is a great pet insurance company.

My 6 month old puppy got very sick in the beginning of January. It turned out to be a neck abscess and my puppy is a Double Doodle so I could not see it and he had no signs or symptoms until one Sunday morning when he woke up whimpering and lethargic. I rushed him to an emergency animal clinc and he was followed by my vet later . He had to have the abscess drained. Trupanion not only covered 90 percent of the entire bill but were right on things from the start. They emailed me and called me as soon as the receipts came in. I received my money back in just a few business days. Trupanion has very caring staff and I believe they are the best company !

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
