Very Happy with PPU

I adopted an older dog from a shelter. I signed up with Pets Plus Us and a few months later he blew a disc in his back. Insurance paid for his MRI, spinal surgery and the following complication of aspiration pneumonia from inhaling some vomit. They paid out just under $15,000. I couldn't be more grateful! We are back at the vet this year with more health problems and PPU continues to pay out claims.

Care and kindness

Our insurance service was caring and understanding as well as supportive with our dogs claim. We would never have been able to provide the care our dog needed without insurance.

You never know how important insurance can be

Our fur baby became I'll not abke to eat and was just not himself ! He needed surgery and ongoing care . Without insurance we would not have been able to provide the care he needed . There is no way I ever want to be in a position to have to say good bye to our boy !! Thank you Pets plus us for helping our baby be a part of our lives !! ❤❤❤

Monthly Cost

Monthly costs vary based on your pet’s species, age, and location, as well as your chosen plan. Customize coverage to suit your pet’s needs and your budget.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill and includes coverage of exam fees and taxes.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000 in Accident Only coverage, or $7,500 or $15,000 in Accident & Illness coverage annually, depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100 – $700 age-based annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. There is no upper age limit.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins after 48 hours for accidents. A policy waiting period of 14 days applies for illnesses.

Exclusions

All pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Medical Conditions that are noted, symptomatic or diagnosed prior to enrollment, or during a waiting period are pre-existing to Coverage and not eligible for reimbursement. All Accident & Illness policies are underwritten upfront so pet owners are aware of any pre-existing conditions that will not be covered prior to making a claim.
