Beware of this company

I would not recommend this company at all. They did everything they could to not pay, to the point of twisting my words as a pet owner and using that version of events instead of what was determined by veterinary professionals. Even after I put my pets through x-rays and ultrasounds to be thorough and ensure a correct diagnosis, Pets Plus Us did not care about the results determines by professional vets. Even though my cat has a health issue that was discovered after we got insurance and should be covered, I have zero confidence that Pets Plus Us will protect my pets and I have cancelled our policy.

Garbage

Started with pc insurance,then these guys came in jacked up the monthly payments and the deductible,so now I was paying them monthly and out of my pocket to the vet ,because these guys raised my deductible to $400 ..in one month I payed $700 in total because 1 dog went in cost about $250 then my other dog had to go in for something different cost about 270 then I had to pay this scam $180.in about 8 years I paid about $10000 and have gotten nothing from these guys .better off opening a separate bank account and put that money there

Satisfaction

I am very satisfied and have been for over five years with this pet insurance company, pets plus Us. When my little girl sprite died when Covid started it was hell but they got me through it and it sure helped with the cost of the vet. Thank you pets plus SUs

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE with TYLER!

I just got off a 50min phone call with Tyler and he is just the most genuine, kind, and passionate representative I have ever talked to. Prompt and courteous responses, he addressed my concerns with the utmost professionalism. Tyler's efficient resolution exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for their top-notch support!

Avoid at all costs

They routinely lost my pet's information and claims, their customer service was abysmal, and they made an already heartbreaking time even more agonizing, stay away from them if you value your pet's life and your sanity.

Monthly Cost

Monthly costs vary based on your pet’s species, age, and location, as well as your chosen plan. Customize coverage to suit your pet’s needs and your budget.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill and includes coverage of exam fees and taxes.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000 in Accident Only coverage, or $7,500 or $15,000 in Accident & Illness coverage annually, depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100 – $700 age-based annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. There is no upper age limit.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins after 48 hours for accidents. A policy waiting period of 14 days applies for illnesses.

Exclusions

All pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Medical Conditions that are noted, symptomatic or diagnosed prior to enrollment, or during a waiting period are pre-existing to Coverage and not eligible for reimbursement. All Accident & Illness policies are underwritten upfront so pet owners are aware of any pre-existing conditions that will not be covered prior to making a claim.
