We would like to thank the associates from PPU for your excellent service in handling our claim during a very emotional time. Our Skipper was a big part of our family and having pet insurance gave us peace of mind to know that we could always give him the best chance when the unexpected happened. The associates from PPU, have always been professional, empathetic as well as efficient. Thank you for acknowledging the the emotional impact of a difficult situation.

Always there for our boys when those unexpected emergencies happen or it is discovered that two of our boys boys (4 and 5) developed genetic blindness. Whenever we have a question it is answered promptly or they find the answers. Claims are processed so promptly within 2 weeks sometimes sooner. If ever a delay they will advise accordingly. Love the fact that they will work with a vet should your vet bill be over $1000.00 and it helps having a preauthorized plan sent in. Monthly premiums are reasonable and services are perfect for our family. Lucca, Gryffin and Sammy send lots of woofs of love to Pets+Us and say thank you for all you do.

Felt obliged to leave some words for those at Pet Plus Us. They very obviously care about the welfare of pets, and worked their Damn'dest to make this as easy for me as possible. Very impressed.

This was a waste of three years of premiums. Difficult to get through on the phone lines, evasive responses to deal with claims, refusals to pay out anything on claims, and then slapping 'temporary exclusion conditions' on the file. They want you to produce all kinds of paperwork, but they won't provide you with their own. I'm going back to my last insurer Trupanion who was easy to deal with and honest about their coverage and in communicating with customers. On top of that Pets Plus Us tries to use scare tactics to keep you from cancelling and going to another provider. Wish I had known about Pet Insurance Review before switching three years ago. Stay away from Pets Plus Us.

We had an unfortunate incident with our puppy ate something dangerous to her. Since it was a weekend, we knew immediately we had to bring her to the emergency clinic. At the time I was of course more worried about our dog than the cost however while waiting I couldn't help but wonder and hope our pet insurance would cover this significant cost. I was very pleased that it did and that the claim was easy to fill out at the vet. When I followed up via email the responses were within minutes or hours. There was very little I had to do to put the claim through and the cheque was mailed quickly. When I called PetsPlusUS recently the let me know that I could provide banking information so I wouldn't have to wait for a cheque if there was another claim - very convenient. The only thing I could say to improve would be to have an online portal for claims, however with the great customer service it wasn't a huge issue. Overall very happy so far!!
