Saving my dear Alexander

Our little beagle got very sick very quickly while we were on vacation, and we ended up driving down Vancouver Island for help. After a very critical number of hours and tests, he was diagnosed with Addison's disease. It turns out that with Addison's if there is an acute episode, the animal may expire, so we are so grateful for the care and for the insurance providing support in such a terrible moment.

Very happy with Pets Plus Us Insurance

We had an emergency with our French Bulldog, Frankie, which resulted in a hefty payment. We submitted our claim to PetsPlusUs via email and within a couple of days we were reimbursed 90% of our cost. This type of service and coverage certainly eases our minds when/if Frankie gets sick. Thanks PetsPlusUs!

Very Grateful for all of the help!

Over the last year I have been dealing with multiple issues with my aging dog. He is such a trooper and with the help of his whole team, From his vets, vet techs and his insurance team being here to help me provide him everything we can to get through these challenges. Monthly Cost

Monthly costs vary based on your pet’s species, age, and location, as well as your chosen plan. Customize coverage to suit your pet’s needs and your budget.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill and includes coverage of exam fees and taxes.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000 in Accident Only coverage, or $7,500 or $15,000 in Accident & Illness coverage annually, depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100 – $700 age-based annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. There is no upper age limit.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins after 48 hours for accidents. A policy waiting period of 14 days applies for illnesses.

Exclusions

All pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Medical Conditions that are noted, symptomatic or diagnosed prior to enrollment, or during a waiting period are pre-existing to Coverage and not eligible for reimbursement. All Accident & Illness policies are underwritten upfront so pet owners are aware of any pre-existing conditions that will not be covered prior to making a claim.
