Worth it?
It’s a lot of money to get half paid for.
In other words, for the last three years we’ve had the pet insurance, we have paid significantly more than received.
I realize that may change down the road, but it’s a decision we’ll have to make as whether to continue.

Speedy Claims Process
"My claim was filed on 4/28/26 which was the same day my cat was seen for his appointment. By that evening, we received an explanation of benefits stating that the claim was set to pay the allowed amount. One week later, the funds appeared in my bank account. Truly seamless. Very satisfied! "

Completely awful company
Completely awful company. I was a customer for less than a year, had my two german shepherds insured, been paid $0 in claims (submitted two that were denied) and was sent a letter than my rates were increasing by 40% without any logical explanation. When I emailed customer service I got a note back that said "We are sorry you are unhappy!" To move forward with cancellation we need account info. No justification or apologies for the increase, just a generic email. Terrible and would never recommend them to anyone.

Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
