Thyroid carcinoma
Our girl, Phoebe has a thyroid carcinoma that we were able to get treatment for because we had pets best insurance. We are so happy that there are companies like pets best to help people in their pets time of need. Now we get to spend more time with our Phoebe!

Terrible and Horrible do not even cover it
We paid $60 a month for what turned out to be completely worthless insurance. When we rescued our dog—literally off the street after someone abandoned her—we did it out of compassion and the hope that we could give her a better life. We signed her up for Pets Best thinking we’d have some support for her medical care, but when it came time to file claims related to her heartworms, they denied everything. Their reason? They claimed it was a pre-existing condition and that we were somehow aware of it before we got her insured. That is blatantly untrue. We rescued her, with no medical history, no background—just a dog in desperate need of help.
Pets Best showed no compassion, no common sense, and no intention of doing what insurance is supposed to do: help people care for their pets. This company is more interested in taking your money than actually providing support when it matters. Don't waste your time, and definitely don't waste your money. If you're trying to help a rescue animal like we were, look elsewhere—this company will leave you hanging.

Pets Best really is the best
I took my new kitten to my vet for an initial wellness visit. He got his first vaccines, some dewormer and a health check. My bill was $218. I submitted a claim for Wellness Coverage the next day by simply uploading the receipt from my vet's office into the Pets Best app. The next day my claim was approved and I received a check for $200 a couple of days later!
Thank you for the seamless processing and easy claims submission process!! The insurance policy terms are also clearly and simply stated, no confusing jargon to sift through. 10/10 would recommend Pets Best for any pet 🩶

Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).

Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.
