Truly the BEST pet insurance company

We insured my labradoodle when he was a puppy worrying that he would eat something inedible or have an accident that needed surgery. We are so happy that we did. The premiums were very reasonable. During the 8 years, our doodle had some minor claims, but they were always paid. Sadly, our labradoodle passed away this month but had to take a battery of tests, ultrasound, blood, fecal... And sadly, he didn’t survive. Petsbest was there for us all the way. They paid our claims promptly and fairly Nothing will ever bring our Toby back but it was nice to know that Petsbest helped us out with the bills. They are truly the best pet insurance. We would highly recommend them.

Skeptic no longer

We were initially skeptical that pet insurance would even be worth it for our beagle, but when she needed to have emergency bladder surgery to remove stones, we were glad we had it. Claim was extremely easy and took about 5 minutes to fill out. We never felt like they were trying to short change us. We'll definitely remain loyal customers.

Pets Best is The Best

I have had Pets Best since 2011 on 5 dogs. They are awsome. I have had a wonderful experience working with them and the Dal claims. Some years I have no claims and some years we are not so lucky and have emergency’s. Our furkids are our human children and they are treated like our children. I highly recommend Pets Best for yours too!! I have had 4 of my friends sign up and always talking it up to people I meet with dogs. If your furkids are part of your family. Please consider insurance fur them. I tell people it’s like car insurance and you hope you never have to use it, but if an accident occurs your so relieved.

Very responsive

We bought this insurance for our new puppy and have been pleased at that response and payment of claims. I have taken issue with them over some of the preventative medicine coverage but have been happy overall with the company.

Scam

I got this coverage for my cat because now that she is older she was getting sick more often. I'm calling it a scam because they don't disclose all requirements for coverage. I got a $300 plus bill that wasn't covered because it was before the time period and even then I wouldn't qualify because it was considered a pre existing condition. How would I have known if I didn't find out her condition until after taking her to vet! Scam and waste of money

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
