Great Decision

So pleased I decided to purchase pet insurance through Nationwide! The cost is reasonable, customer service is terrific. Very easy to submit a claim and it is paid quickly. The explanation of benefits is very helpful. Will always use and recommend Nationwide for my pets.

Worth every penny!

The dog we have is unpredictable! I am completely comforted in knowing I have this Insurance and all that it covers!!!! It makes those hard choices much easier.

Your help is the BEST!

I’m a disabled retired woman and your pet insurance is the best! Being on a fixed income takes it’s toll on people and thanks to you I don’t have to worry about taking my dogs to the vet. I know that the monthly payment I make insures that my dogs can go to the vet when sick and also for their yearly wellness check ups and shots. It surely helps me knowing that I will get some money back after paying the vet. I have had your insurance for many years and plan to keep it for many more. Thank you!

Max the puppy does strange things.

Max got hit by a truck,and was gone for 11 days before he come home. It was trying to get him the care he needed,but with the help of great vets and Nationwide Insurance the whole process went a lot better than I thought it would. Max is doing a LOT better now,and can be a handful at times. Thanks for your help.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
