Amazing

Can’t recommend enough, these guys are awesome.The fine prints are easy to read, the price is very competitive, they are always available via the app and always responded to my emails with 24-48 hours. My pet went through cancer last year and Lemonade has been amazing handling our claims and they sincerely helped us financially knowing they claims were being paid in timely manner.We had probably 5-6 claims ante expensive ones and their professionalism and empathy during the process was spot on. I also have my homeowner insurance with them and when living in NY I also had renters insurance with them and as a realtor I am always referring them to renters and homeowners. I just genuinely like lemonade and how they’ve made me feel as a customer.

Customer service

Lemonade has helped us save so much money. Without it, I honestly don't think we would've done surgery without insurance for our furbaby. They make it so easy and smith to file a claim, and it doesn't take long at all!

Made easy

We opted for wellness coverage witb out new rescue pup. She’s you g snd will hopefully be around for a long time. Lemonade has already served us well for getting her up and running on her shots and exam, snout to tail. Super easy to use and proving itself worth it.

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
