Great company to work with. Service reps are really helpful, claims are usually handled quickly and I like that my renters insurance is also bundled with my pet insurance.

So glad I did it!
As a first-time owner of an English Bulldog, I knew that they were prone to costly vet visits. I had never had pet insurance before and wondered if I would be worth the cost. I researched many brands of insurance and the offerings before picking Lemonade. Their plan is simple. No hidden caveats. Premium rates do not jump to another stratosphere after the first year. Filing a claim could not be easier! Lemonade’s app makes it a breeze. Communication is instant and personal. Claims are paid swiftly. The policy has proven to be well worth the money and I am so very satisfied with Lemonade - I can’t say enough positive things - other than if you are on the fence - DO IT.

Filing a wellness visit claim was easier and faster than I ever imagined it could be!
I read excellent reviews if Lemonade sort Insurance and thus went with this option for our dog. Now that I have filed our first reimbursement claims fir a wellness visit I too fully endorse Lemonade’s Pet Insurance ax the way to go!!
Monthly Cost
Policies start at $10/Month
Coverage
Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%,
80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Payout Limits
Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage
for pets as they age.
Waiting Period
All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods:
-2 days for accidents
-14 days for illnesses
-6 months for cruciate ligament events
There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.
Exclusions
Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
