Easiest most stress free experience
The claim was like a live chat format. They asked for the information needed, I provided and literally with in minutes it was approved ! Was so easy and really takes the stress out of the whole situation. So glad I got this insurance for my fur baby!

Best Customer Service
I have been so pleased with this service! I got Rocky a few months ago as a 12 week old rescue pup so needless to say I have been at the vet often recently. The customer service team have answered all of my questions efficiently and clearly. I love that I get to communicate directly with a person for my claims and questions. And the refund was deposited in my account so quickly! I'm very pleased with Lemonade and have told all of my friends.

Great Service

Easy and Affordable pet insurance
So far my experience choosing and filing a claim for my pet insurance has been very efficient! There is an instant messaging system to chat with a representative and it was all complete within 5 minutes.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at $10/Month
Coverage
Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%,
80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Payout Limits
Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage
for pets as they age.
Waiting Period
All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods:
-2 days for accidents
-14 days for illnesses
-6 months for cruciate ligament events
There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.
Exclusions
Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
