over all its pretty good,everyone is friendly and easy to talk with

over all its been a pretty good insurance. I feel they should cover cover preventative meds like heartworm and flue shots. Because in the long run if we did not use those it would cost everyone allot more money

Izzy has a new friend in Lemonade

Izzy is our. 5 year old ShiPoo. We recently switched to Lemonade for her pet insurance. I researched 10 pet insurance carriers and chose Lemonade based on the coverage, claim service and price. We recently took Izzy for her annual checkup, filed a claim the same day and received payment within 24 hrs that was deposited into my checking account. The app and chat options are easy to use and the customer service is quick in responding to you. Thx for the great service.

Second chance

Given the unfortunate circumstances of my 4 year old pup developing a rare form of liver cancer, I would not have been able to give my gal a second chance at life without Lemonade. They helped me, help her and on a personal yet professional level. She (Maeva) is not out of the weeds yet, but at least I’m able to spend more time with her.

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
