We had a wonderful experience with HealthyPaws. Our dog George had emergency bowel obstruction surgery, which was very expensive. Even though we'd been paying the HealthyPaws premiums faithfully for a year, I had heard horror stories from friends whose pet insurance had found loopholes to get out of paying at the last minute so I was still concerned. But I shouldn't have been! Submitting the claim was really easy and I had the reimbursement check in hand very quickly afterwards. We are so grateful that HealthyPaws was there for us when we needed it and I recommend them to all my friends now.

THE BEST INSURANCE COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!
I have never had pet insurance prior to getting my current dog five years ago. I had been recommended to healthy paws from a friend but never had to use them. However, my dog developed a serious bladder problem and she needed several test that were quite costly. I submitted my claims to healthy paws which was made EXTREMELY easy on line. The checks came before I barely got the biopsy results! It was so swift that I could barely believe it...There were several claims and as each got submitted the check came shortly after. And, I also received an email from customer services asking about my dog...a personalized email. I will never use another pet insurance company and I am their biggest fan and advocate for anyone needing to purchase insurance for their pet...Thank you healthy paws from the bottom of my heart!!!

Wonderful experience with HealthyPaws
We had a wonderful experience with HealthyPaws. Our dog George had emergency bowel obstruction surgery, which was very expensive. Even though we'd been paying the HealthyPaws premiums faithfully for a year, I had heard horror stories from friends whose pet insurance had found ridiculous loopholes to get out of paying for things like this at the last minute so I was still concerned. But you really have no choice with things like this-- you can't put a price tag on the health of a lifelong companion. But I shouldn't have been! Submitting the claim was really easy and I had the reimbursement check in hand very quickly afterwards. We are so grateful that HealthyPaws was there for us when we needed it and I recommend them to all my friends now.
Annya and Belen, mom and daughter Siberian huskies, their life with me and the supportive Healthy Paws along the way
I have been with healthy paws since 2013. My beloved dogs were healthy, two huskies Mom and daughter. Suddenly the daughter very ill with liver disease chronic. She only was given 2 months to live. I researched and google and today after over a year she is alive, stable, happy, some edema in her back legs. I keep every day coconut oil to control the fungus. She takes ursidiol, denamarin and clavamox always, and special diet. Her Mom Annya, healthy white husky light blue eyes, died December 3 she developed strong fever, diarreha, and I run to UCDavis but unfortunately she left us. My heart was so broken, just pieces. Belen then got blind with too much ammonia in her blood, she was hospitalized in January weeks after her Mom died.
ALL THE TIME, all the bills were promptly refunded or refunded to UC Davis. I am grateful to healthy paws, they treat me with respect and care for my dogs.
I keep recommending healthy paws to anyone I encounter. My experience with Belen liver was so bad and stressful, and always healthy paw refund me and when they asked for records they were polite and respectful.
Annya died and she was 13 years and a half, but she has the very best care, and eating fresh meals prepared by me. Belen is alive and drs seems to think is miracle dog.
I Love my dogs, I missed Annya so much but I have her daughter, she is ok, and I know if I have to go to the ER, Healthy paws will be there. They are not just a company, they are also a support company that care for our pets.
Healthy Paws has been excellent to us! Great support and wonderful service. Our dog had a bacterial infection and they supported us through all of it. Couldn’t be happier.
