Thank goodness for pet insurance

To all of those who are thinking of not getting pet insurance but love their animals like family member, GET IT!. When I got Mogley i was in college and couldn't afford much. i couldn't figure out a way to afford monthly pet insurance payments. A couple of years went by and finances got a little better i began shopping around for what I could afford knowing that at some point my love of my life Mogley would need assistance, and vet bills are expensive! With Healthy Paws I was able to choose the coverage I could afford. they give you many options! So... here we are my best buddy is now 11 but still very Spry.he loves to chase bunnies and squirrels and loves swimming, when one day he chases after a bunny and Snap! there goes his ACL. My choices were let him stay lame (he's an old boy but not with out spirit. this didn't seem like the best option for my best bud), the other option were 2 different surgeries. one that fixed the problem but restricted him still, or TPLO which is more expensive but better for recovery and quality of life. Anywhoo the TPLO was quoted close to $6000. what a price tag! thank goodness for my Healthy paws Pet Insurance! I didn't have to even sweat about it! I currently have 80% coverage so when all said in done I think i paid $1300. AND they allowed me a Direct pay option for the surgery where they approved my estimate and allowed the surgeon to just bill me what I owed so I didn't have to temporarily load up my credit card. While the Insurance doesn't cover regular vet visits, it is affordable and easy to use and makes it count when you need it the most.. My deductible is fairly low and the Insurance has come in handy more than once. I would have hated to have to choose the lesser option for Mogley. he is the most deserving soul I know, and to give him anything less than the best life because of a silly price tag seems sad to me.

Best Pet Insurance

We signed up for Healthy Paws within a week of adopting our mixed breed dog from the Humane Society. Our dog was a healthy pup, and we actually didn't have to file a claim with Healthy Paws for the first two years but we felt secure knowing that if something unforseen were to happen we were covered. I did a ton of research online prior to selecting Healthy Paws, and I couldn't be more pleased with our decision to choose them for our pet insurance needs. Our dog is now almost 4 years old, and he has been going through a bad bout of illness over the past few weeks. He has been in and out of emergency rooms, and has required expensive tests and procedures such as x-rays and ultrasounds. Additionally, he had to have major abdominal surgery last week. Healthy Paws covered 90% of all of this. We had to file multiple claims, and they reviewed and approved all of them within a few days. We are so grateful to have Healthy Paws to ease some of the financial burden of caring for a sick pet. Healthy Paws allows us to focus on our dog's wellbeing rather than worry about expensive treatments. If you're looking for pet insurance, I strongly recommend Healthy Paws. It's better to have them, and not need them than to need them and not have them.

Our Cat and Toxic Flowers

Our cat Cleo got into my Mother’s Day flowers we did a review of the flowers in the bouquet and found that the Asian Lilies are extremely toxic to cats. We rushed her to the veterinarian where she was admitted for two days of intensive care. Knowing that Healthy Paws has our back was a great relief when all we wanted was the best care for Cleo. Additionally their customer care stayed involved with her recovery throughout the ordeal. Thank you Healthy Paws. The Thompson family.

Major Shoulder Surgery #2

Healthy Paws is the best decision I’ve ever made as a pet owner. I encourage every pet owner I know to go with them. Our hunting Labrador Malley has been accident prone since we got her. Thanks to insuring Malley when she was six months old and choosing the 90% coverage, we have never had to miss out on the best care for her. She has had two shoulder surgeries, and multiple other tests and cut repairs during her almost five years and it’s all been covered. The reimbursement process is so quick and easy. Can’t say enough good things about Healthy Paws!
