My dog had a bowel obstruction and required surgery. Overall the bills were a little over $10,000 with 2 ER visits, a regular vet appointment and the surgery. With insurance I ended up paying a bit over $1,000 which was doable compared to the actual bill. It is very convenient to file claims and the claims get processed very fast.
