Best Health Insurance for your Pet

I love this insurance. My dog has had a few health issues and they have paid for all her meds, surgery, MRI, bloodwork and Xrays. I am getting a new puppy later this year and you can be sure that I will continue using Healthy Paws insurance with the new dog. The reimbursement of payment is pretty quick, just a couple of days. I would highly recommend getting this insurance for your dog or cat.

I love this insurance

Extremely easy and worth the money

My 6 month old puppy was playing in the house and started screaming. At 5lbs, he broke his leg and needed surgery requiring a metal plate and screws. The cost, $6k. But there truly is no cost when it comes to the live and comfort that your pet provides. Within a week I started my claim with healthy paws. I called to make sure I had all the necessary documentation and was helped by a kind man. Then I uploaded the information using their app. I received an update to my email every few days letting me know what the status of my claim was. Within 10 business days, my claim was processed and funds were directly deposited into my account. Not to mention I received a follow up email checking on how my baby was doing. I would highly recommended this insurance and I am thankful that I got it. Great company, easy claim processing, and super caring.

If you decide weather your pet gets treatment because of the cost, save him, get coverage now...

Thanks for checking, Mac seems much better after his latest treatments. The Neurologist has him on a medication plan for a couple more weeks to see if he improves. Thank you Healthy Paws for being there when we need you. It’s such a relief knowing we have coverage, it takes the pressure off and helps keep our family happy. Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
