Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I just wanted to advocate for the use of HealthyPaws stating just how excellent we feel about the coverage. Their speed to resolve and pay claims and overall service is remarkable. Too often you probably hear complaint emails, and don't hear about the good. Well, currently we are really enduring a challenging time with our large breed dog with Lymphoma in her GI and is terminally ill. From the time claims are submitted to the time the money is reimbursed is astoundingly quick which really takes the stress out of an already stressful and emotional situation. Kudos to the HealthyPaws organization, the specific team that manages the claims from our family to yours we offer a very warm and grateful thanks and endorsement. Thanks to them we can be confident that we are covered and able to make her last weeks/months as enjoyable as possible.

A friend referred us to healthy paws, and we are completely happy with it. Claims are processed and paid rapidly, with no second-guessing the vets. Our dog needed no care above our deductible for a few years after we got her policy, but in the past few months we have unfortunately had to take her to the emergency room twice including a 48-hour stay and to her regular vet for urgent care once. It has been hard, but not having to worry about the expenses has been great.

Healthy Paws is disorganized and does not pay claims. I rescued a cat, got an exam the next day, provided all to Healthy Paws which they happily accepted as proof there were no pre-existing conditions, along with my premiums. As it turns out my cat developed asthma which they argued was a pre-existing condition that no one knew about (does that make sense to you?). It took a month for them to develop their case why they won't pay and asked for the same information 3 times. I sent them everything I had and at the end they just assumed it as a pre-existing condition. I cancelled my coverage with them. Don't fall for their nonsense. Do the right thing and save your money!
