Able to afford to give our dog the best care possible

Healthy Paws made the process of our dog's need to get TPLO surgery so much less stressful knowing that financially we were covered - pre and post-op care too. Our beloved furbaby got the best possible care and Healthy Paws gave us that peace of mind to focus on being able to give him that best care without any hesitation due to financial strain. They were so helpful, responsive, and really cared about our pup's full recovery.

Please Use Healthy Paws, they are wonderful!

I cannot say enough about Healthy Paws. My cat has had a couple of surgeries in the last 3 years. They have always gotten my reimbursement checks to me very quickly (far faster than I would have imagined). The staff there is very kind, they are always asking how my cat is and checking up on us. You really don't see this kind of customer service very often now. Premiums are also very reasonable. It helps so much when you are worried about your pet's health that you can at least know the financial side will be taken care of.

So happy that we have pet insurance with Healthy Paws!

Our dog went through a bad case of gastritis. She was at the vet for an X-ray and then we had to go the the ER for more treatment and an overnight stay for 2 nights. She had numerous tests done and had to take many medications. Pet insurance brought our bill down significantly! Super easy to file claims as well. And Healthy Paws followed up with me a few days later to see how my dog was doing. Overall a great experience!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
