Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I own two mini schnauzers. One is 2 years old and the other is 11 months. I cook for them, give them multi vitamins, regular vet visits and grooming. They are healthy and happy so why would I need pet insurance? On a whim, I decided to educate myself about different pet insurance since someone on my FB page recommended getting it. Healthy Paws had good reviews and some of the best pricing. Still felt it "might" be a waste of money, but I love my babies and thought I would try it for a few years. A few weeks ago, my oldest mini begin to vomit and continued until he was spitting up blood. I panicked!! Of course this is on a Saturday night and my vet is closed. I rushed him to the pet ER and they immediately took him in and diagnosed him with pancreatis. He had to stay the night and we didn't know if he would make it. Soooo scary! After 24 hours and a $1500 bill, he was released and doing well. I filed my claim the next day and heard back immediately from Healthy Paws. They paid the claim within 10 days. Trust me when I say "pet insurance is NOT a waste of money"! I highly recommend Healthy Paws and will always feel good about getting the best treatment for my fur babies!

I just had to have eye surgery on my 1 year old Chow Chow. I was stressed enough, without having to worry about the cost of surgery. Healthy Paws was easy to work with. I take a picture of the bill and diagnosis, send it to them through their app, and within 2 weeks I had my reimbursement check. The only thing I had to worry about was getting my pup well.
