HealthyPaws helped us get the best care!

Having HealthyPaws insurance for our new puppy meant we were able to ask the vets for the best care when she recently got sick and had to go to the hospital. We knew we were covered and were able to have the doctors run all the recommended diagnostic testing required without worrying. After our puppy was discharged from the hospital, we submitted the claim and were reimbursed in less than a week via direct deposit without any fuss or hassle. Healthy Paws has already paid for itself and our sweet pup is only 5 months old (and healthy now!).

Highly recommend!

I can't say enough great things about Healthy Paws! This was our first experience with pet insurance and I bought a policy when we adopted our rescue dog. Six months later she was diagnosed with heart worm. Healthy Paws has been great in terms of how easy it is to submit a claim and reimbursement time. I have called them a few times with questions and always speak to a polite person who seems to genuinely care about helping me with our pet. I highly recommend them!

Healthy paws is great

Healthy paws is great. Paperless. My dog needed surgery. Claim submission was very easy and reimbursement was seamless. Helped make a stressful health situation better. Very much recommend the company.

Fast Resolution of claims; kind and thoughtful concern by Healthy Paws staff

My 5 year old, rescued at 2 yrs, was suddenly struck with immune disorder, non-regenerative red blood cell anemia. It was a shock to our family but she seems to be slowly recovering through the emergency care she has been receiving the past 2 1/2 weeks, multiple visits and intense care the first 3 days.. The customer service and the quick resolution of all the claims has greatly eased our family's minds. We are grateful for the quick service and resolution.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
