Satisfied Long Term Customer

After trying other pet insurance carriers for several years, once we found Healthy Paws, we found a permanent pet insurance partner for our two dogs. Healthy Paws has been easy to work with and provides prompt claim responses and payouts. Financial ease during our pups surgery!

Our dog Remy unfortunately had to go under TPLO surgery. I called ahead of time to customer service to ensure this was covered. They were super helpful and of course covered the entire surgery. The direct deposit option is great and made the financial process of this a breeze! Thank you!

best insurance decision i could have made

my dog recently started to get severe allergies, we have had to take her to the vet many times within the past couple of months, at one point i even had to take her emergency. Thankfully, we were covered through HealthyPaws, all of the claims i have submitted have been taken care of by this insurance with no difficulty at all! thank you HealthyPaws!

Best pet insurance

I have loved Healthy Paws. I wish my medical insurance was so straightforward! The app is super easy to use. Claims are easy to submit, and I've never had a claim denied. Everything is very straightforward. I've unfortunately had to submit lots of claims because my pit/lab mix has had horrible ortho problems with his legs and had six surgeries. I highly recommend Healthy Paws! I have a policy for my cat and dog.

Insurance should be handled like thjs

I’m going to keep this plain and simple. I do not know, nor do I care to find out, how my little cat’s well being would be like if it wasn’t for Healthy Paws. It has been the least stressful part of healthcare for me, to say the least. I have recommended Healthy Paws to all my close friends and family.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
