Healthy Paws Pet insurance has provided me with superb service. Less than a week of owning my puppy, he ended up hospitalized. it was an unfortunate incident. I did expect to encounter medical bills so soon. Needless to say, I was thankful that I purchased pet insurance immediately upon acquiring my pup. Filing a claim with Healthy Paws was fast and easy. I was able to upload my vet bills via the app. The whole process of settling the claim took only 5 days. It was hassle-free. We are so thankful we chose Healthy Paws as our pet insurance. Sadly, our new puppy had to visit the ER twice in one month. Healthy Paws reimbursed us for the majority of the bills minus our deductible. It was exceptionally easy to submit the claim and we received the check in no time! Pros: The claims process is easy and stress free The technology to submit claims is good The customer service is good Con: The premiums always go up. They will tell you it is because the area has raising vet costs, but that is just a half truth. Based on this logic, if I get a new quote, then it should be identical to the price I have now... quotes are always about half as much as my current premium. I am currently paying $65ish, and the new quote is $35ish. The entire industry does this because they want you to think their insurance is cheap, then drop them after a few years before you have any major claims... it is a classic bait and switch that I wish were better regulated. In the meantime I stick with HealthyPaw because they are one of the better companies in this industry.
