BEST Choice in Pet Insurance

We brought our adorable 8 week old French bulldog puppy Milo home in November 2017. As a new dog owner I immediately started to research pet insurance because I was unfamiliar with it and wasn’t sure if it was worthwhile. After researching and comparing pet insurance I decided to invest in Healthy Paws. I figured better safe than sorry. Everything was fine until Milo was about 1 ½ years old and he started to have medical issues. He had his veterinarian which lead to his animal ophthalmologist and eventually his neurologist. It was finally determined the next course of medical action was to have an MRI and Spinal tap performed. Without thinking, because you will do anything for your little furry family member, we went ahead with the costly procedure just to finally rule out a neurological issue. We made this decision thinking we would have to pay for the procedure out of pocket. When I finally took a look at the coverage Healthy Paws provided for Milo’s policy, it covered 80% of the procedure minus the deductible. A good portion of the cost was covered by Healthy Paws, which was a financial relief, along with the relief of finding out Milo did not have a neurological issue. Healthy Paws customer service was very friendly and great to work with and the claim submission process was very easy and once all the required medical records were submitted it only took a couple of weeks to receive the check in the mail. I HIGHLY recommend Healthy Paws if you are looking for medical coverage for your family pet.

Best decision I’ve made!

Sadly my last two pups had extremely high vet bills (granted pet insurance wasn’t much of a thing 15+ years ago) but I promised myself the next fur baby would have insurance. I started asking my vet the top ones they recommended to help narrow it down and they gave me 3 to look into. I sent several emails and questions to each and I settled with Healthy Paws. All the companies had similar coverage but I was able to tweak the plan a bit more with Healthy Paws, everything from the deductible and the reimbursement rate. I couldn’t be happier with them and uploading claim documents is super easy and they are easy to reach and their communication is great. They even sent me an email asking how my pup was after a recent lass removal surgery (she’s great in case you’re wondering). Bottom line is I love them and can’t say enough good things about them.

Very positive experience with every claim.

We have 3 policies (dogs) with healthypaws for the last 3 years. I am impressed with their customer services, easy claim process and the fast and helpful response whenever you call them on the phone. One of my dogs just had a major leg surgery 2 weeks ago. Healthy Paws made claim so easy for us. All we did with claim was submitting a picture of the vet bill on their app. We received the 90% reimbursement less than 14 days later. The excellent customer services also sent an email to check in on our dog after they sent out the check. We highly recommend healthy Paws for pet owners. I wish the human health insurance companies would be half as good as healthy Paws.!
