Here is a list of PET insurances that…

Here is a list of PET insurances that CARES & VALUES the customer MORE than Healthypaws. Bellow, I explain why. 1- Pets Best 2- Spot 3- ASPCA Pet Insurance 4- Pumpkin 5- Embrace 6- Pawp 7- Toto I do not recommend this insurance company at all. I moved to a new home and a week after that I received an email from them stating that my monthly premium was going to increase due to the new location. It was the third time I moved into a new place in 3 years and the two other times the exact same thing happened. I proceeded to call Healthy Paws to find out what they were basing this raise in price on. The very unhelpful and moody customer care agent just said that she did not know why the price change, that their system decides on prices and not them, therefore she could not do anything about it. So I explained to her that if I simply went on their site and input my address as a new client, it was offered a monthly premium 20% cheaper than what I was paying. (Which does not seem fair that they value a 2-year client less than any new client). I said that to the customer care agent, and she once again said “there is NOTHING I can do about that”. So I asked her if maybe I should just cancel my account and open a new one. I asked her if it wouldn’t just be smarter if I did that. She replies that it is up to me and then asked if she could process the cancelation. The cancelation was processed and the following day I opened a new account with them for both my pets for 20% less. After the first time I took them to the vet I got a reply from Healthy paws that they will not cover my claim as it is now considered an existing condition. I spoke to one of their managers about the situation, I explained that when I asked the customer care agent if I should do this, she never informed me that everything would be considered an existing condition. Guess what the managers’ answer was? “THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT THAT” They don’t care or value any of their customers!

Best pet insurance. Highly recommend

Since I moved from previous insurance to Healthy Paws, it has been a great experience. My cat accidentally ate a 30-inch fish line and I had to bring her to the emergency group. After trying various treatments, we failed to make my cat vomit the string. So I had to make a decision whether doing an endoscopy to find and retrieve the string or not. When I first saw the cost estimate, I was shocked because it was very costly. However, I made a decision to go forward with the endoscopy with the belief in Healthy Paws. Finally, the doctor found the string and could successfully take it out. And my cat has recovered well. With itemized invoice and medical records, I could smoothly submit the claims and Healthy Paws could process it within 2 weeks. I was impressed by the fast, simple, and kind process for the claims. I will use healthy paws for the rest of my life! To my friends and neighbors, I strongly recommend Healthy Paws for their pet insurance.

Healthy Paws is efficient, simple usage and prompt with responses.

We have owned 9 dogs in our lifetime and never had pet insurance. In the past, 2 of our dogs became very ill with diabetes and blindness which became very costly. So as we grew wiser in our older years we decided to insure our 2 new pups. Unfortunately one of our dogs developed bladder stones and needed surgery. Healthy Paws did everything that it professes to do and the most important is paid 80% of the surgical bill. We were totally satisfied 😌
